Orida Maidstone

Overall, I had a good stay at Orida Hotel. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the facilities were definitely a highlight. The gym was well equipped, and having access to the pool, sauna, and steam room made my stay even better. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. However, the biggest downside was the lack of air conditioning. I stayed on a day when it was around 35°C, and the room became very hot. There was only a fan provided, which wasn't enough to keep the room cool. This was especially disappointing because the Trip.com listing stated that the hotel had air conditioning, which wasn't the case. Another small issue was the lack of plug sockets in the room, which made charging my devices a bit inconvenient. Despite those issues, I still enjoyed my stay thanks to the cleanliness and the excellent leisure facilities. We had a last minute stay here and it’s good value for the price. The spa was nice with all the facilities working properly, jacuzzi and steam rooms were hot. The food was excellent quality, I’ve never had such a large and thick burger at any establishment but for £20 I’d expect this. Room and cleaning was ok but a bit tired. Lovely country pub about a five minute walk away and a large M&S and Costa next door. The one thing that compromises the whole Orida brand is charging £6 for parking. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to charge this to staying customers and it’s a complete let down to the entire onsite service. Theres no town or station within walking distance so why would you penalise your guests with this extra tax. There’s a free car park next door in Costa or M&S so anyone using the hotel car park is clearly staying overnight. Will not be staying again here until this is put right

Great location, as it was only 4 minutes walk from where I wanted to be.   Service, food was okay.

Great value for money. Used the hotel for a quick stop over before onward travel. Large room, a little old fashioned but not a problem at the price we paid, to be expected. Everything in the room that was needed and very clean. No lift to second floor so a little difficult with heavy luggage but we managed. Would stay again if in same situation.

Great location - close to Maidstone and a number of local villages.  Restaurant has a great choice but the quality does not fully match the prices.

Our stay was pleasant but there was a lit of noise from other parties that we're staying at the hotel who came in at 2am making lots of noise

Great array of breakfast choices. Clean. Room service great. Restaurant on premises offered delicious dinners at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Room tidied daily. Fresh linen. Spacious room. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.
