乾淨 就在Maggie Valley 山腳下 ,空氣好 。旁邊就是那個世界上最大的時光車輪博物館,擁有世界上最古董的摩託車,路上時不時地有三五成羣結隊的摩託車手們開來開去的。

My family and I booked a room over a year ago for a big car show that is in town in April. When my husband called to confirm our reservation he was told our room was cancelled by another club because they had an agreement with the hotel to book the whole hotel. We did not receive a single phone call or email stating we no longer had a reservation. But that a representative from said "Club" would reach out to him to inform him of the change. Due the a change in employees the person my husband spoke with could not give an honest answer. So had he not called ahead of time we would have traveled from miles away to find we wouldn't have a hotel room for our family for the weekend. Never again will I ever use this hotel and I will be sure to let others know as well. Beware of your reservation, it will cancelled with no notice.

Vey clean, comfortable, and the owner is so nice. We've stayed here before and never been disappointed. We'll be making reservations for our next visit before we leave.

- Moderately quaint motel with ski chalet-like entrance lobby including small library ( mediocre dated and religious books) includes on site restaurant/bar. - Bar has a trivia competition capably run - No free breakfast - not much hot water in shower - heater/ventilation fan is noisy . poor thermostat function - screen on bathroom window torn - NO recycling at facility at all - wood flooring in room - gas fireplace with extremely short duration timer - little bedding provided in room - river behind motel past utility areas

The Lodge was extremely clean. Our bathroom was absolutely spotless! I love that there is no carpet in the rooms. The electric fireplace in the room was adequate for heating on the chilly nights. We were pleasantly surprised by the DJ in the bar when my husband and I went down for a nightcap. The check in and out was seamless. The only negative would be the weight of the blankets. I would have liked a little more, but the fireplace kept up nice and warm.

My husband and I have stayed here several times and have found it to be quaint. This time some things were off. When we checked in, there was someone asleep in our room! When I returned, the desk person was frustrated, but she gave us a better room. The room had been recently renovated and was quite spacious. Unfortunately, we ended up with the dreaded pass-through door to the room next door. I had to pound on the door to stop the loud talking and laughing so that we could sleep. The other thing that was disconcerting was that there were many dogs there. I did not remember this being allowed. I found out that the travelers are charged extra for dogs. I heard dogs barking as we went to bed, but they calmed down. Our room did not smell like dog, but another traveler told us that his room was smelly. Yuck. By the way, I am a dog lover.

Smoky Falls Lodge is a quaint, mom and pop hotel in Maggie Valley. We were in town for the WNC Jeepfest and stayed at the Lodge for the first time. The front lobby had the decor of a ski lodge. The room was clean and comfortable. Fairly large room with 2 queen beds. The shower provided good pressure and hot water. The Valley Tavern is located in the hotel, providing bar and grill environment. Reasonable rates for the time of year. Had an issue with the sink we addressed with the front desk staff. We look forward to returning for future events in Maggie Valley.
