We stayed 1 night. Excellent service from the moment we entered. Room was a little dated but very clean.

Stayed for one night. The room had mould in the bathroom and cleanliness was poor. Staff were lovely and tried to resolve the issues but considering this hotel is marketed as 4 stars, it was a poor start. The pool is lovely but is not onsite, it is a pool for local residents. The family room was a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and not ideal. Breakfast was OK but no hot food. For the price of a family room, this is certainly not value for money. Having discussed the issues with staff a discount was offered after acceptance of low standards.

First visited this hotel when it was quite new... so a fairly long time ago! It hasn't changed much. Tired(has had a lick of paint) old fashioned with a public area that looks likes Prince Charmings Castle.Dark bedroom which had a balcony(no seats) which was hardly surprising as it was filthy with bird ***. Saving grace was that it was clean. The dining has changed though...for the worse.My husband ordered roast ham with smashed potatoes.When it came we both looked as if it was a joke.Some sort of meat flooded in gravy and (for those who know) a huge pool of white sloppy stuff which was (I'm sure) very watery Smash dried potato. He took one taste and sent it back. Much to the huffing and puffing of the (quite) rude waitress. I had ordered fish and was also brought the smash.Twice it was brought back to the table saying it was what I ordered. The wine was about the worst I've ever tasted. We asked for a bottle of water to dilute it much to the sighs of impatience from the same waitress. Avoid this hotel. It really has fallen by the wayside. It's offering 1 star service while saying it's a 4 star hotel.

Lovely comfortable hotel spoiled by vastly overpriced restaurant with sub-standard food served by less than friendly staff. Don't be fooled by the menu saying you get fries as a side, they mean a handful of ready-salted crisps! Its out of town location means there's no other option within walking distance and they know it. We won't be back.

Nice hotel but we arrived just after 6pm to be told that the restaurant didn't open until 8.30. Whilst waiting we perused the menu outside to find everything very expensive compared to Portugal, that we had just come from. Choosing for the cheap (?) option of burger and French fries (according to the English version of the menu we were given) we were extremely disappointed to be presented with basically a veal escalope in a bun so crusty you had to be careful of your fillings, with a side of ready salted potato crisps! We didn't dare order a second glass of wine to wash it down, as the burger was €10 so we were extremely apprehensive as to how expensive the wine would be. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room either. We won't be back.

The hotel is well located for travelling down through Spain. The reception and rooms are excellent. The staff are very helpful.
We have stayed 3 times as the hotel is dog friendly. However, you can only take your dog to and from the room. We therefore are unable to have an evening meal or breakfast at the hotel. We are not aware of any local places.
The hotel is big enough and has enough outside space where they could have a pet friendly area to enable people with pets to have breakfast or an evening meal, however, they do not offer this facility.

Public areas very nice. Room decoration very dark and depressing. Unable to make shower work impossible to regulate hot water. Food very strange and vastly overpriced. Unable to get any fresh air into room due to windows being sealed shut. Dont bother to stay at this tired and unpleasant property.

A convenient hotel in northern Spain, previously stayed here when heading for the Santander ferry, this time heading for France. it has an underground secure car park (€8 fee- worth it for peace of mind). Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. good value for money in a quiet area of Spain, near to road links north and south. Like many Spanish hotels and restaurants, evening meals are late, this one didn’t open until 8.30 pm. Far too late for us so we drove 10 minutes to eat at a fast food burger restaurant, not ideal but suited us as a one off
