Spa Hotels in Madurai

The front desk service was very good, but the business was very bad. To the hotel, don't let early check in understand, the front desk asks for the price, go to the restaurant to buy breakfast, the price of the restaurant is not the same as the price given by the front desk. When I checked out, I wanted to use the hotel's car to go to the airport. I asked the front desk for a price. I thought it was a little more expensive than Ola. It was okay. I said that I had a good meal and ordered it. After I came back, I changed the front desk. The price has changed. It is more expensive than Ola. Doubled. Early Check In, the hotel began to strictly demand that you can not check in early, must be 2 pm, after communication, helplessly understand, then go out for lunch, come back to 12 noon, found that the hotel even gave another pair of white couple check in, but also provide A towel and welcome drink. I didn't have this at all when I checked in. The above shows that hotel management is very confusing. The security guards greeted each other with enthusiasm. Breakfast is not expensive, but meals are average. The room hardware is very good, the air conditioning is also very powerful, but the refrigerator is very old, very noisy in the general heritage of the manor. The hygienic situation only looks beautiful, and if the wooden floor is stepped on, it will soon be dark. There are also a few large flies flying in the room, hey, a little disgusting. Overall, the price is not bad, that is, the front desk is very annoying, and the health situation is not equipped with hardware.

Such a good property, service was very convincing and more over the swimming pool and rooms were clean. Breakfast was okayish but nothing to be complained

This heritage property is easily one of the beautiful and well maintained. The receptionist Govind made our day with the free upgrade to colonial room and he was extremely expertise in handling the guests and quickly allowed us to check in to the room and explaining the details. So 5 stars for the hospitality. The room is well lit with ample sunlight and space and with very good restroom and a private garden/sit out. The property has a pleasant weather through out and breezy and every where you will see peacock flying and chirping and it was sight to watch. The few things which i would to highlight as a scope to improve are 1)Breakfast buffet spread was very limited. 2)Amenities the indoor sports was limited, only chess and snake and ladder was available in game room which will not suit all age group. 3)Outdoor sports, Pool was very well maintained with sauna and steam. Gym is functional. However the badminton and tennis courts and rackets need a replacement as well as maintenance of the court respectively.

During our recent stay, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Prasannakumar’s customer service is truly outstanding. He was incredibly apologetic and responsive to even our minor feedback, ensuring that every concern was addressed immediately. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay all the more enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who consistently delivers such a high standard of service, and we are grateful for his dedication. I must say the tour and traveller run by Mr. Gopal ji at Fortune Pandiyan Hotel, Madurai is really awesome. He provided me full details of day wise iternity of Madurai and Rameshwaram's famous places with print out when we just arrived at Fortune Pandiyan hotel, Madurai on day 1. Mr. Gopal ji is a very nice person and soft spoken.he also shared me his peronal pandit details who is basically pujari inside the Maa Minakshi temple. Pujari worshipped for our family and he provided us the direct acess of Maa Darshan. Not only this, Mr. Gopal ji have very excellent team and his assigned driver Mr. Mahendran ji took us at every place and also worked like a guide. My family have fully enjoyed this religious trip of Madurai and Rameshwaram. The car was sedan type and fully comfortable and price is reasonable compared to market. Good hotel with Delicious breakfast and Good services… spacious banquet halls and the special thanks to mr Saravana and Naveen and also the ***ager mr Arjuna and all housekeeping staffs and ms Subha had taken care throughout the meeting.

Room was very average compared to the cost. The walls were shabby and paints were coming out across. The rooms had mosquitos, which was very disturbing. Door locks were not operating properly. Location : very good with good parking food : good amenities : none as described - no spa, no gym only a 4 feet pool. Services : average

Clean and hygiene rooms with good ambient. Staffs are friendly and eager to helping others. Wi-fi, kitchen with minimum need. One suggestion if possibleput a small refrigerator in kitchen added.

This is one of my favourite hotels in Madurai n have stayed here many times during the past 10 years. Stayed here twice recently.Good things first.They have a big Car park,a Good Restaurant,place for a few drivers to sleep,3 or 4 meeting halls,wash rooms near the lobby,lift,Good AC rooms.Both the rooms n the hotel have all the basic infrastructure. Now coming to some problem areas.I had trouble with my Room door card lock twice n the reception sent up ppl to open with their master key.Definitely needs attention.The Bed linen had some stains n the towels also need replacement as they have aged.The toilet basin needs better maintenance n the water is leaking/dripping after usage.The room n wash room can certainly be maintained better.There is an unpleasant odour in the washroom...either from the drain hole or from the wash basin drain. The Curtains can be washed or changed too.The TV remote cover comes off.Food is okay with some items being good/very good but food in general n especially the breakfast buffet can be improved upon. I dont know if there is shortage of staff but there was no proper response from house keeping n Room service on a couple of occasions.The Reception were very helpful n solved the issues. The Manager Mr.Palani is doing a good job in keeping the hotel running well.Mr.Jayachandran at the reception was very helpful n so too Ms.Manimeghalai at Housekeeping. Good hotel but in need of improvements!
