Excellent service by exec chef Tapan and the entire staff. We were celebrating our anniversary and they created a wonderful experience for us. Great hospitality and amazing food. Our 6 yr daughter was super excited when chef allowed her to assemble a cake for us in the kitchen. Lot of personal attention and care by the entire staff. The property itself is at a height which gives exceptional views of madurai. The natural environment is well maintained with peacocks around the pool area. We were lucky to see the peacocks dance as well. It was a truly wonderful sight.

"Our experience was more than Overwhelming" at Gateway Madurai. It is a first time Stay in a TATA group of hotels for me and My Wife. Thanks to the Affordable price opportunity we got for our Two Nights stay at this property. Located on top of A small Hill, 15 minutes drive from the Madurai train junction. But far from Madurai airport. We as Senior in age, spend much time by walking All around the property relishing the Spectacular 360 degree Views of the city and the Immense Hospitality offered by every staff at the hotel.

Gateway Resort Madurai is best place for staying close to nature (its in forest), very peaceful, lots of peacock, free from pollution and rooms also built which remind old colonial days. Nice place to spend time with friends and family.
