Padmam Hotel

Where to start? The central location was the only positive thing about this hotel. The staff were off hand on our arrival and provided no information on any amenities . We thought the building looked rundown from the outside, but little did we know how much worse it would be inside! The room had plaster hanging off the wall, filthy light switches, all the surfaces were sticky and the place was generally grubby. Bare wires and chipped tiles were in the smelly bathroom which had a broken glass door. The shower was so scaled up and dirty, it didn’t work. The mattress was lumpy with springs and bedding was stained. Outside our door on the stairwell , was a bloodstained mattress and loud construction work began in the morning until evening. We left after 1 night (having booked for 2) as staying another night there was more than we could bear. Avoid this hotel!

This is a worst hotel full of ant and cockroaches, no service , not recommend anyone should try this hotel , this is not a hotel it’s kind of dirty places

The Padman Hotel is very run down - especially the bathroom. It was very unclean to put it mildly. The photographs are very misleading. . The front rooms overlooking the square are incredibly noisy - you'll need earplugs! But it's a a good location, not far from the main temple and railway station, and it's not expensive. Some work was taking place while we were staying so it may improve in time.

Hotel was okay and near temple. AC worked fine, bathroom was not bad but not completely clean. Staff was helpful and nice.

Shabby place,old building with lot of repairing works(seepage wall on the corridor and inside also). Photo it's look like a new building. Wifi and Ac is good , location also good .

Nice stay, very nearby to meenakshi Amma temple and railway station. Cleanness in rooms have to improved

Given a room where AC is leaking, then changed room to another one, I have asked for a soap, they denied saying shower gel is there use it. In fact other room it is provided. Reception staff while checking in is not good receiving people. Inside room it is terrible, cockroaches and mosquitoes are there. Damaged walls and Brocken lights. They have given a bed which is join of two mattress, joint level it is bumpy and which is irritating and creating backside pain.

Filthy room for the amount we paid. Rooms were not cleaned before we checked in. Totally disappointed.
