Sterling V Grand Madurai was a disappointing stay overall. The biggest issue is hygiene. The room was not properly cleaned, and the bathroom was visibly dirty, which immediately set a bad tone. The swimming pool was not operational due to no water, which was another letdown. The snooker table is only for display and not usable, so that’s misleading. The only positive takeaway is the staff. They were genuinely friendly and helpful. Sadly, good service alone cannot make up for poor cleanliness and non-functional amenities. Wouldn’t recommend unless major improvements are made.

Good service. The toilet on the ground floor was somewhat unclean but was cleaned when we made a request. Very friendly staff and decent food. Rooms were clean - mid-range hotel.

Pathetic …. Rooms are not seen in images .. they charge you extra even after booking on online . The rooms and bed stinks a lot

My stay at this hotel was truly pleasant and exceptional. The staff were outstanding—incredibly polite, helpful, and attentive to every need. Their professionalism made the entire experience seamless and welcoming. The room itself was just as impressive: spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and remarkably spacious. It provided a perfect, comfortable retreat after a long day. A major highlight was the amazing on-site restaurant. The food prepared by the talented chef, combined with the professional service from the dining staff, delivered a wonderful culinary experience that I won't soon forget. I would enthusiastically recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madurai and will certainly make it my first choice upon returning.
