Very good the location in Plaza Castilla with a Metro station that’s make easy to reach hotel from the airport and easy to go to downtown. Room size is also good. I didn’t try the breakfast because very close to the hotel there is a place where you can have cheap and good breakfast. Only negative point is the toiletries, as not sufficient provided for an hotel 4 stars.

Hotel Exe Plaza is located near Madrid’s newest business area, towards the northern end of the city. From the hotel to the business area takes about 10 minutes by taxi - or 15 by public transportation - . One of the positive aspects of its location is they Plaza Castilla is a transportation hub with three metro lines and several buses terminal stations. The hotel is very much business oriented, with comfortable bedrooms and a good wifi connection overall. The most disappointing part is the gym, a small room with only a few machines and some of them broken, need to reserve in advance with the reception counter so they ensure it is not too crowded there.

Very good location of the hotel next to the Chamartin station, and the metro is right under the hotel windows. Also in the same building there is McDonald's and a couple of cafes. The room was a suite, quite large, clean. The linen was clean, the towels were good. Of course, a little "tired", but not critical and the air conditioner works quite noisily, but we opened the windows and it was cool enough. There were no problems with water. Wi-Fi worked well. It is possible to leave luggage upon check-out.

It's very close to the airport, and it only takes about 10 minutes by taxi. This hotel doesn't have a kettle by default, you have to ask for it at the front desk, and the rest is average. Because it's outside, it feels a little quieter and better.

The transportation is very convenient. There is McDonald's just downstairs and the subway entrance is on the left when you go out. It's not far from Chamartin train station, and a taxi will be there in a minute. There are convenience stores nearby.
