The room did not have a toilet (nowhere on the trip website was this mentioned and I found out by surprise when checking in) but it did have a shower that did not have hot water and I had to shower with cold water and a sink. Of a ridiculous size that the water leaked out of us**** due to its size.
At night there is a lot of noise, you can hear the noise of the wheels of the cars passing on the asphalt of the street, which is irregular.
I don't recommend it at all.

Bathrooms and showers very small, old and uncomfortable. This aspect could be greatly improved, also putting in better windows to soundproof the noise from the street.

Very bad, the hostel receptionist treated me very poorly, the bathroom was very uncomfortable, you could barely sit down.

Excellent hostel. Very good quality-price. Very helpful and attentive reception staff as well as cleaning staff. Very well located to visit everything on foot. I recommend.

My fault I apparently didn’t read the fine print- NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was hot the first night and I was unable to sleep. 2 nd night I was able to open the window as the temp dropped. Clean. Staff was good. But also note there are 4 Woo-hop’s in Madrid. I also booked different hostal than my family.

Long weekend stay in a very nice location, very clean and friendly staff, many options for dining or breakfast - I would go back in my next trip to Madrid :)

beware the shared room doors do not lock, so anyone can walk in. the bathroom had mould growing and the walls in the room all had stains and a hole in. there was also electrical wires hanging out of a plug in the wall.
