AC Hotel Carlton Madrid Reviews

First off, the location of the AC Hotel Carlton Madrid by Marriott is definitely excellent, being quite close to Atocha train station. The room itself was decent, just a tad small. Breakfast was quite rich and plentiful. However, compared to similar hotels in China, the overall price is on the higher side, which is especially noticeable in Madrid.

Good convenient location by the main train station. Nicely renovated rooms. A little lacking in amenities for the price - slippers were 5 Euros. Rather poor soundproofing, we could clearly hear various noises from other rooms and also traffic from the streets.

This hotel is conveniently located near Atocha station, just a 4-minute walk to the Reina Sofía Museum, and within walking distance to the Prado Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. (These three museums are covered by the 'Paseo del Arte Pass,' which offers great value.) It's an excellent location for anyone who wants to visit museums even with limited time. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, but the street noise from cars was a bit loud. There's also a small Carrefour Express supermarket nearby, which is very handy.

The room was fairly clean, though quite small. Hotels in Europe have been raising their prices lately, but this one's location right next to the train station was quite convenient, and the facilities were much better than many hotels in the city center.

The room was spacious, and we had a great stay. The hotel also provided toothbrushes and toothpaste, which was very considerate. The staff were friendly as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

About 6 minutes walk to the Atocha train station, 4 minutes to Sofia museum, 15 minutes to Prado. Great location. The room is clean.

The hotel is very close to Atocha train station and easy to find. The breakfast offers a good variety, mainly cold dishes. However, the room is a bit small.

This hotel is centrally located, about 800 meters' walk from Atocha train station. Major attractions like the Prado Museum and Retiro Park are also within walking distance. It's roughly a 30-minute drive from the airport, and you can catch the airport bus from Atocha station. Metro Line 3 is just 400 meters away, offering easy access to the Las Rozas Village outlet mall. All in all, the transportation is super convenient. The hotel itself is small but very clean. The room amenities are comparable to budget hotels back home, with disposable toothbrushes and combs provided, but no slippers. The breakfast, however, is excellent and plentiful.

The room wasn't huge, and the sink area was a bit cramped, but the bed was big and very comfortable. There was only one bottle of water, but you could get more lemon water from the front desk downstairs, which was quite good. Overall, it was a nice stay, and the location was convenient.

The hotel is clean and the staff is nice! Free storage luggage after check out and strategic location near Madrid Puerta de Atocha which is 5 minutes walking distance!
