Good location near the historical centre to walk. Big nice room for affordable money. Nice pool on the 23 floor, but we had no time to try it. The breakfast is very poor, no vegatebles such as tomato and cucumber at breakfast. Absolutely same food for 2 days. No options for vegan.

It was so nice. Very clean and always help if need something. And big, beautiful room. We couldn’t have time in a SPA, because this time was closed. But it was not big problem. And they have complimentary for birthday. They made a free dinner and cake

A very new hotel. The view out the hotel room was incredible.
Everything was perfect, but we were quite disappointed with the front desk… As a 5-star hotel, he was quite rude the whole time, and he stressed that deposit will be deducted if we smoke in the room. We went to the room and found that there was this heavy cigarette smell, we called the front desk and they said they would send a personnel there to “check”, without saying that they might be carrying a huge machine to spray the room or mentioning any solution. Turns out a very polite young lad came to the room with that huge machine and asked if we needed to spray the room. We said it was okay because the spray had an even stronger smell. But the service is pretty bad, not up to the 5-star standards. And also, the hair dryer didn’t work. I heard the other female receptionist at the front desk and the attitude was also the same. Lastly, the breakfast was also a little bit disappointing. Not suitable at all for foreigners. There was no cheese for a toast, just butter and orange jam and the bread was awfully chewy and hard…

I wish I could've stayed here my entire time in Macau. The rooms are not the biggest but the new design (finished in 2024) is brilliant and makes you feel connected to what came before. The hotel dates back to 1928 and was the original ”President” and was central to the rise of Macau ****** culture, being a focal point of the fantan monopoly. There's an extraordinary neighborhood around it, which reminded my partner of Southern China and Hong Kong of the past. You can eat and drink in street food stalls, restaurants, and coffee shops that are much more than a hundred years old and original. I was inspired by the story of the man who renovated the place and the area, how he grew up here, led the investors, designers, and restoration team throughout COVID and finally they all completed the place. Well worth the trip and I would go again.

It is more of a business hotel rather than Macao 5* hotel style. After staying at the Venetian and Studio City, Sofitel was a bit of a let down.
PROs:
- amazing customer service provided by every single member of staff. I did not have any special requests, they were just perfect without me asking for it
- extremely comfortable bed and pillows
- excellent buffet lunch
- nice pool area
CONs:
- the rooms are 4 star, a little sad and outdated
- the bathrooms are 3 star, very old and disappointing. They must be refurbished asap (even just changing the shower glass and bath glass wall to a modern smoky glass to match the basin, changing the lamp heads to something more modern, and make the overall aesthetic dark and moody, and better shower heads would be a quick fix)
- the cleaning standards are not up to par (see photos, not acceptable for a 5* hotel)

1. At the time of check-in, I requested a room that was NOT located at the end of the hall, and I got one there!
2. It is very hard to get a taxi, and I needed to ask the concierge to call a taxi each time I needed to go out.
3. The door of the shower closet cannot be closed tightly, leaving a one-cm gap that let water seep out during a shower.
4. The USB charging outlet next to the desk did not work at all. The USB hub on the bedside table was obscure, and I only noticed it when I was about to check out.
5. The electrically operated drapery did not function properly. I needed to pull the curtain slightly before they started to close.

My stay at the Altira Hotel Macau was an unforgettable experience that seamlessly blended luxury, comfort, and stunning views. Located on Taipa Island, this five-star hotel is a hidden gem that truly embodies the essence of indulgence.
From the moment I arrived, the exceptional service set the tone for my stay. The warm and attentive staff greeted me with genuine smiles, making check-in a breeze. I was upgraded to a luxury suite, and the moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by the elegant decor and spacious layout. The modern design, coupled with breathtaking panoramic views of the Macau skyline, created an inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The suite featured a plush king-sized bed, a generous seating area, and a beautiful marble bathroom complete with a soaking tub and separate shower. Every detail was meticulously planned to ensure maximum comfort and convenience. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary minibar and the Nespresso machine, which made my mornings delightful.
One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the hotel’s renowned restaurant, which offered a delectable array of Asian and Western cuisines. The quality of the food was truly exceptional, and the attentive service elevated the dining experience even further. I also took advantage of the stunning infinity pool and state-of-the-art fitness center, making it easy to stay active while basking in luxury.
The Altira Hotel’s location provided easy access to nearby attractions, and the peaceful environment made it the perfect escape from the bustling city. Overall, my stay at Altira Hotel Macau was nothing short of spectacular. With its impeccable service, lavish accommodations, and stunning views, I cannot recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking to experience the pinnacle of luxury in Macau. I can’t wait to return!
Location is convenient. It located at the heart of Taipa. Bus stop is at the gate of the hotel. It is convenient to go every part of Macau. Room is delicate and convenient. Though it is a little bit small, still fine for me and my son. Design of room is cozy. I like the color tone of the room.

The room was as described. However, the check in wasn’t very smooth. We booked the room two days before going, and the hotel said they haven’t received the order from trip‘s partner party, so we waited for half an hour or more until the hotel confirmed with Trip.com. Fortunately the assistant in Trip was polite and helpful and agreed to make some reimbursement with trip coins.

YYuk Wing VirginiaI recently stayed at The Parisian Macao during a business trip, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I usually avoid staying at hotels within the Venetian complex due to its large property size, but this time I chose The Parisian for its convenient location directly above the Venetian Expo Halls, where I was attending an exhibition. It turned out to be a fantastic decision.
From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless. The guest relations staff were warm, welcoming, and efficient, immediately giving me confidence that my stay would be well taken care of. My room was conveniently located near the elevator—a thoughtful detail that made navigating this large property much easier. The room itself was bright, impeccably clean, and surprisingly well-maintained for a hotel that has been operating for about eight years; it felt almost brand new!
The service on my floor was excellent—prompt and attentive. The team ensured I had everything I needed throughout my stay. For anyone attending events at the Venetian Expo, The Parisian’s location is unbeatable. Accessing the expo area was incredibly convenient; just a short walk through the hotel’s function rooms led me directly there.
The thoughtful amenities in the room added to my comfort. A foot massage machine provided much-needed relief after long days at the exhibition, and late check-out allowed me extra rest in the morning before packing up in the afternoon. Small but meaningful touches, like replenishing shopping bags after room makeup and brightly lit bathroom lighting ideal for makeup application, showcased the hotel’s attention to detail.
I also dined at a few F&B outlets within the Venetian property, all of which offered very good service. The dining experiences complemented my stay perfectly and added to the overall positive impression of the property.
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the hairdryer. An updated model with higher power and a longer cord would enhance convenience for guests.
Overall, The Parisian Macao proved to be an outstanding choice for my business trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting for exhibitions, concerts, or events at the Venetian complex. Its combination of convenience, excellent service, and well-maintained accommodations makes it a standout option!
DDenne GohMy stay at Studio City Hotel, Macau was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was smooth and enjoyable—truly some of the best service I’ve experienced!
The hotel itself is stunning, with a luxurious and modern design that creates an exciting yet comfortable atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Macau.
The facilities were top-tier, with fantastic dining options, entertainment, and even a resort-style pool. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to access major attractions and casinos.
Overall, Studio City Hotel delivers a world-class experience with outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Macau! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
GGuest UserYou can forget about early checkin. Could only preregister strictly after 1230pm and had to come back for room key collection from 3pm onwards. The hotel requires 1000HKD for room deposit. We requested for twin beds but was informed there would be additional charges unlike other establishments who not only accommodated to our requests but they also did their best to make our stay memorable. Honestly we expected better service for the price paid. Wouldn’t consider staying here again when we could get better service elsewhere.
GGuest UserI stayed here for the first time with my mother and daughter to celebrate my mother’s birthday month. First I was greeted by a door man who was very friendly! The check in line was a bit long and chaotic but once I got my turn, I was impressed by Brandon, the receptionist, who was so efficient, effective and helpful. He also heard about me celebrating with my mother and he upgraded us to special room with massive balcony. I admit I was teary eyed with this kind gestures. The staff during the breakfast time was friendly and gave us the seat with nice view. Concierge staff on the phone was so helpful and we got help with wheelchair. Staff for cloack room were all so kind and my mother was so happy and she said it was the best hotel experience she had so far. Thank you W !
AAnonymous UserVisited the venetian and stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was beautiful and room was big. Downside was I was given a room on a floor that was going through upgrading works and the smell of fresh paint was overbearing and lingered in the air throughout my stay giving me a bad headache. Thankfully I was not staying for long.
Other than that, room was clean and housekeeping made up room ans replenished amenities daily.
****** is just downstairs and there are many eateries and in room dining available. Unfortunately, food is very expensive and wasn't really tasty.
There is shuttle service from the airport to the hotel for free.
RRodelynNo body lotion ,but all in all everything was awesome even the power station area and the refilling of water its good idea. My only concern is that the stay over is not changing linen even we stay for more than 2 days. I will surely come back.🥰🫶
GGuest UserThe location is far from the tourist attractions, but the hotel is attached with a mall and recreation area, so you can enjoy your time without meeting the crowd. A bus stop is nearby and also a shuttle service is provided by Grand lisboa palace resort, followed by 10 minutes walk from the get-off point to the hotel
GGuest UserWe had a great time staying at this hotel for birthday celebration, check in was quick and there was flexible arrangement which we appreciated. Would highly recommend this suite for family which is very spacious , kid-friendly with no sharp edges, with bathtub and shower . The hotel helped to arrange baby cot and birthday cake. There were restaurants like McDonald and pepper lunch, and a convenient store plus Brown and Cony cafe which was cute. for activities we went to indoor playground for kids to play for 2 hours. There were also ice machine and vending machines to buy snacks and drinks on our floor. Overall we had a great experience. The vibe was relaxing , staff were nice. At first we were worried about having to queue for taxi (based on online comments) but it turned out there were lots of taxi at our hotel and also at the hotel next to us. (Just 5 min walk , actually directly next to this hotel) would recommend this place for a quiet and relaxing staycation for family. Only thing that can improve would be breakfast, not much food options to choose from for a buffet-style breakfast (we chose the western style one).
KKwee LanGot a double single bed room. Was very big. Every was good. Best part was I get to choose the firmness of my pillows within the room. The only disappointment was the so called international breakfast seems to have mainly Chinese food. Also, to maintain the Holiday Inn standard, probably should get rid of the stains around the bath tub/bath area.
GGuest UserI arrived at 1300 hours, but the room was only available at 1500 hours. We requested a late check-out but were only allowed to stay until 1200 hours the next day. I even received a reminder phone call at 1155 hours, which seemed like they were urgently pushing me to leave
