Ibis Budget Hotel Luzern City

Hotels in Lucerne are generally expensive, and this one was relatively cheaper. There were no disposable slippers, and you needed a 20 CHF deposit for a hairdryer. The room was tiny, but hey, what more can you expect from a 1-star hotel? On the plus side, the location was decent, and check-in included free public transportation. The hotel breakfast was delicious!

Convenient location, easily walkable from the train station. We stayed with friends, and while it was a bit cramped for four people, it was generally clean, hygienic, and nice and cool. Recommended!

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is typical for an Ibis, meeting expectations. Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was great. The soundproofing is excellent; even though our room faced the street, it was very quiet. I'd recommend this for solo travelers or couples. A triple room would be a bit cramped, and you might bump your head on the top bunk if you're not careful. On the plus side, the location is fantastic with very convenient transportation. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The facilities are complete, the environment is clean, and the transportation is convenient. There's a bus stop right outside, offering free rides to the train station and ferry terminal, which are just a 5-minute drive away. It's incredibly convenient.

1. Transportation: From Lucerne train station, you can take a bus (check SBB for details). The bus stop is right in front of the guesthouse. 2. Air conditioning is available. 3. There's no in-room kitchen, no kettle, and no mini-fridge. 4. There are two elevators, so no worries about heavy luggage.
