Book any Premium room or Suite to access a private balcony, the perfect spot to soak in the wonderful scenery.

"The hotel looked brand new along with all the other buildings in the Nagasaki Station area. The room was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. I liked everything about the hotel except I thought it was silly I had to take two elevators at different ends of the building when coming and going. Not a big deal but makes you wonder what the architect was thinking at the time. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if I have another opportunity to visit Nagasaki."

"The hotel is only a three to four minute walk from the train station, which was a lifesaver for my exhausted self. It's clean, and the brand-new facilities are a refreshing change from typical Japanese hotels. It's also great value for money and super convenient for shopping."

Hotels in Nagasaki City
For centuries, Nagasaki mixed influences from Japan, China, and the West to create an atmosphere that’s completely unique. This harmonious blend of past, present, and different cultures is in every detail of Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street. Inhabiting one of the city’s iconic 19th century redbrick buildings, the hotel glows with Nagasaki’s rich history and the brilliant possibilities that await. The chapel restaurant, with dazzling stained-glass windows, serves innovative dishes that are crafted to surprise and excite. Start your journey of discovery through Nagasaki’s past and present at Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street and uncover new pathways to your future.

"Staying at Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street was a highlight of our trip to Nagasaki. The hotel is beautifully designed with a distinct British colonial character that fits perfectly into the historic Glover Garden neighbourhood — stepping outside, you’re just moments from Oura Cathedral and some of Nagasaki’s most iconic sights. The rooms are immaculate, stylishly appointed, and the bathrobes were a lovely touch after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast at Restaurant Cathedréclat — set inside what feels like a converted chapel — was a real experience in itself, with a tasty Japanese option that was genuinely delicious. The staff deserve a special mention: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Service was flawless from check-in to check-out. The only minor thing I’d flag — and it really is minor — is that the pillows are on the thin and soft side, which might not suit everyone who prefers a bit more support. A firmer pillow option would make this hotel absolutely perfect."

"A very comfortable hotel located just about 400 metres from Nagasaki Station, with a tram stop, bus stop, and a convenience store right at the doorstep. Getting around is incredibly easy, as it sits right in the heart of everything. Glover Garden, the Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Park, and Chinatown are all just a few tram stops away. You can even walk to Mt. Inasayama in around 10 minutes, which makes visiting for the famous night view especially convenient. The room was clean and cozy. The public bath was spacious, with multiple tubs to choose from. There are also laundry and dryer machines available (three of each), though you may need to time your usage a bit. The breakfast was excellent, especially for those who enjoy Japanese-style options. It included a rotating selection of Nagasaki specialties such as champon, Goto udon, and sara udon. There were also breads, salads, and made-to-order egg dishes. However, it might feel a bit pricey if you do not prefer Japanese-style breakfasts, as they make up around 60% of the selection."
