"Having stayed in numerous hotels, including Capella Singapore and Capella Shanghai Jian Ye Li, Capella Tufu Bay now ranks very high on my list. There are three main reasons for this. Firstly, the exceptional service. Before my arrival, a travel and culture officer added me on WeChat. Luna thoughtfully arranged the airport pickup, and after check-in, she meticulously reminded us of the daily activities. On the day of check-in, besides Luna, another young man was also excellent. He enthusiastically introduced the room facilities, the unique features of each restaurant, and nearby attractions. When I mentioned that my husband enjoys tea, they immediately sent over a variety of black teas and a complete set of gongfu tea utensils. Capella pays great attention to detail; even the tableware at Tufu Bay is from an Italian brand with an impressive design. What truly delighted me were the bedding and pillows. The duvet was breathable, and I chose to replace the pillows with latex ones, ensuring a very comfortable sleep every night. The aunties who cleaned daily and provided turndown service were quick, gentle, and always accommodating. Whenever we walked around the hotel, the club car drivers would ask if we needed a ride, showing that the hotel's training for the entire team is very thorough! Next, let's talk about the food. My husband and I both loved Sabai Thai Restaurant and ate there for three consecutive days. Besides that, the breakfast at Silk Road Restaurant offered a wide variety of choices, with a corner featuring cuisine from a different country each day. Even the bread in the children's section was adorable. The hotel offers complimentary food all day. In the afternoon, there's an afternoon tea time with designated desserts and a self-service beverage model. The desserts included a cold drink, which I loved! In the evening, the lobby bar offers cocktails, followed by happy hour after dark with a live band, creating a wonderful ambiance. Finally, the abundant daily activities. For adults, there's fitness, sailing, spa, sachet making, and herbal pestle massages, while there are even more options for children, including childcare for younger kids and hands-on classes for older ones. Of course, travel photography is also essential. The photography studio is located within the hotel and offers makeup services, which is very helpful for someone like me who's not good at it. The photo results were also extremely satisfying. In summary, Capella Tufu Bay's welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home and allowed us to enjoy a wonderfully pleasant time."

"Room amenities: Dyson hairdryer, Le Labo toiletries, the room is very new. Hotel facilities: The family pool is perfect for kids, with a bubble party every day. The seawater pool is huge and great for a good swim! The public areas are stunning, with beautiful views at every turn. Family-friendly: The kids' play area is geared more towards younger children, but thankfully, there are plenty of activities. They proactively provided kids' toiletries and water guns. The sand play area is also very reassuring, no need to constantly watch the kids at the beach! They gave us bubble bath, flower petals, and coconuts! 🥥 Breakfast: Delicious Zhaopocu wontons and excellent coffee. Dinner buffet: My child had two bowls of beef noodles in one go! 😂 Service: Our butler Naiya was incredibly patient and went above and beyond. We encountered a typhoon and rain, and she proactively informed us about alternative activities. We'll definitely be back!"

"Huge thanks to the entire team at Rosewood Sanya for making our family stay so enjoyable and perfect. I had honestly been quite disappointed with luxury hotels in Sanya until I came across the Rosewood. I won't go into the design, facilities, or public areas here, as you can easily find all that information online. What I really want to talk about today is the service. From the moment I arrived, and throughout my numerous excursions and returns, whether by car or on foot, every concierge I encountered greeted me with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. Before my car even pulled into the drop-off area, they were already there, ready to open the door for me. From the ground floor to the 14th floor, and up to the front desk, I was guided every step of the way by colleagues who were enthusiastic and informative. I know it's a busy summer, and I can only imagine the hard work involved, but everyone managed to hide any signs of fatigue. You are truly professional. Breakfast staff, bartenders, and poolside colleagues were all incredibly observant. A glance or a raised hand, and they seemed to instantly know what guests needed. That’s true skill. Some might think this is standard for a luxury hotel, but as we all know, many brands have been cutting back in recent years, both on amenities and service. Basic service might still be there, but truly warm and personalized service is becoming rare. Warm service deserves to be recognized. "The Mandarin Oriental Sanya has that classic old-hotel charm. There are many huge, mature trees and beautifully maintained lawns. The public areas exude a beauty that comes with age. A stroll along the beach path towards the villas is absolutely stunning – on a clear day, it feels like a mini-Maldives! 🥰 The service was exceptional. The moment I stepped out of the car, they greeted me by my full name. We were whisked away by buggy straight to our villa for check-in. When checking out, I simply messaged our butler on WeChat to arrange a buggy for our luggage, and before the buggy even arrived, my deposit was already refunded – so generous! I'm easily won over by these little details. [blush] Knowing we had a late flight, they even granted us a late check-out. Special thanks to the butler team: Jacky, Jason, Gavin, Lee, and Eason. They made our two-day stay incredibly comfortable. The location is superb. Coral Bay is beautiful on a sunny day. The entire beach is covered in coral, which my child loved collecting. You can go tide pooling at low tide and snorkeling at high tide. Initially, an older hotel like this, which typically wouldn't offer great value for money, wasn't on my radar. But my husband wanted to stay, and I was worried that the basic rooms might be old and not well-maintained. Then I saw a deal for an entry-level two-bedroom villa that seemed quite reasonable, so I booked it. Before arrival, the butler contacted me to ask about any requests. I mentioned I liked sea views and a good location, and that it was my child's birthday, so a small decoration would be nice. They upgraded us directly to the top-tier Coral Bay full sea view villa! My superficial self found it hard to be objective after that, haha. Breakfast was decent. It closes at 11 AM, and even arriving at 10:30 AM, there was still a short queue – this was probably the only minor drawback. For dinner, we ate at The Corner, one of the hotel's restaurants. We ordered a set menu for two, and the chef came to inquire about our preferences. We mentioned the steak was a little dry, and without hesitation, they immediately prepared another excellent ribeye. Again, so generous! [strong_emoji]"

"Every time I visit Sanya, staying at Atlantis feels just like coming home. The dining, accommodation, and entertainment experiences are always fantastic, and Atlantis consistently surprises us with upgrades and new attractions, making every visit a fresh experience. We stayed for six nights this time, and my child had a blast while I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing holiday. Our butler, Patrick, arranged our room even before we arrived, and his thoughtful, detailed, and attentive service made this trip feel incredibly welcoming, giving us outsiders a sense of security and comfort in Sanya. Surrounded by tropical garden, the private villas also offer kitchens and a 24-hour butler service.Nine meeting rooms and a grand ballroom are also located on the premises.This hotel houses seven dining options serving a range of cuisines including Cantonese and Italian or specializing in seafood or barbecue.A large spa center is located on the premises, offering a range of treatments. There are also five outdoor swimming pools including two specifically built for children. A variety of activities are on offer on the hotel beach, The hotel also offers a supervised Kids Club with a waterslide, a kid’s pool with shower and an outdoor play area.

"First off, the location. The hotel's location and views are absolutely stunning, directly facing Yalong Bay and right in its prime spot – truly beautiful! Next, the hotel room design. It's the Thai style I prefer. This time, I stayed in the Presidential Suite, Ritz Wing, which has two bedrooms. Honestly, the room design is a little dated, but since this was a family trip with my parents, they actually loved this 'old cadre' style, so I guess the design was fine after all. As for comfort, there were four adults, two children, and a nanny in our group. With two bedrooms plus a study, we had an extra bed set up in the study for the nanny, which worked out perfectly, and everyone slept very well. Finally, the service. We had all our meals at the executive lounge on the sixth floor. The executive rooms had a high occupancy, but there seemed to be fewer staff members, so during peak hours, some service might have been a bit slow. However, I found the butler quality to be excellent. Our butlers, Alice and Rick, were incredibly responsive and helpful with all our needs, and they promptly made up for any minor service shortcomings, so the overall experience was still good. The trip ended perfectly with them seeing us off from the lobby to our car. So, overall, I was very satisfied with the stay and would definitely come back. Finally, I have a couple of suggestions. First, the executive lounge's food selection is quite limited; besides the delicious beef noodles, everything else was just average. Also, during peak dining times, it gets very crowded, so I suggest increasing staffing to improve the guest experience. Second, some of the room's hardware facilities are showing their age. For example, the showerhead in our room was broken and couldn't be hung up, so we had to hold it the entire time, which was very inconvenient. I recommend the hotel enhances its maintenance of room equipment."

"Our butler, Chris, provided excellent service. He helped us choose a room with a fantastic view, offering a great sea vista. Plus, the balcony was shaded all day, which we really appreciated. The hotel was quiet, and dining wasn't crowded. The shaded pool was a nice experience; most of the water was out of direct sunlight in the afternoon. The main pool would be even better if it were a bit deeper and larger. We also tried sea fishing and diving this time. Compared to similar activities we've done before, boarding the boat directly from the hotel's pier was incredibly convenient and saved a lot of time. If you're not too picky about water quality or the variety of coral and fish, it's definitely worth doing while you're there."

"Today is our third and a last day at this wonderful, beautiful, and green hotel. Our booking included a transfer from the airport to the hotel. A very polite driver in a large minivan met us immediately upon exiting the airport in Sanya. Our journey was very comfortable. We highly recommend booking a transfer through the hotel. Before our arrival we contacted the hotel about the transfer. We were lucky – the Russian-speaking butler Anna quickly arranged everything and added us to the chat. From that moment the professional and helpful and just a wonderful girl Anna was always in touch, answering all our questions and requests and was always available throughout our stay. A big thank to Anna! The hotel grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful greenery. Particularly impressive is the huge, well-kept lawn, which will remain green in the scorching sun. Every detail has been carefully thought out. The hotel is large, but very quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, both buffet and à la carte. Every day, there are six types of freshly squeezed juices, plenty of fruit and ice cream. Dishes from the à la carte menu are served quickly. They even have a durian soufflé on the à la carte menu. At 1:00 PM a small buffet snack is available at the western reception. Two coconuts with the hotel seal are provided daily in one room. We booked the Junior Bay Ocean Suite. It's a two-room suite with a larger balcony and a sea view. The room is fully equipped, including a Nescafé coffee machine, robes, slippers, a Dyson hairdryer, scales and more. There's a clothesline on the balcony, which is very convenient. I'm glad this hotel is eco-friendly: water is provided in paper bags, wooden toothbrushes, a wooden comb and paper packaging. The room was cleaned very thoroughly and twice a day! We have never seen anything like this anywhere else. Tea and coffee are refilled promptly. The free minibar is refilled every three days. Now about the sea: there are waves all the time, so there are very few swimmers. But we swam and loved the waves. The sandy beach is very clean, and the sea is a stunningly beautiful color. The beach is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, and you can always find one. The pools are great, but the depth is only 1.2 meters. This is convenient for children, as well as for non-swimmers. For those who can swim, the pools are shallow. The pools have two waterslides: one for very small children, one for older kids. Sun loungers are always available by the pool. Large beach towels are provided at the pools. There’s a tourist street outside the hotel just a 10-minute walk away with cafes and shops where you can try local food, tropical fruits, and even a shop selling durian, which you can also eat right there. We highly recommend this hotel. We'll definitely come back!"

"The Kimpton Shimao Clearwater Bay is a six-star hotel that truly excels in every aspect, from its hardware and services to its intricate details and overall experience. This is not an advertisement, I genuinely mean it! 1. **Exquisite Design:** The public areas are stunning, with picturesque views at every turn – a paradise for detail-oriented guests. Every corner is Instagram-worthy, feeling more like an art museum than a hotel. The rooms are top-notch, with excellent amenities. The most delightful surprise was the hand-painted glass art created especially for our anniversary, a truly thoughtful touch. 2. **Exceptional Service:** * We used a secret phrase at the front desk and received a cute blind box and a commemorative pendant. * The in-room ”treasure chest” was incredibly practical: it included a full sun protection set (sunglasses, sunscreen, aloe vera gel), nail clippers, eye masks, and more, anticipating all sorts of forgotten essentials. * The Guest Relations Specialist, Vicky, deserves special praise! She contacted us by phone in advance and managed to upgrade us to a sea-view room despite the high occupancy during the summer. She also proactively arranged for the anniversary hand-painting and even sent us a Westie doll that we'd requested. Her warm and responsive service was truly touching. * Sales Manager KK was efficient in recording our needs and coordinating arrangements, proving both professional and reliable. 3. **Fantastic Public Areas:** The hotel's public areas are a veritable ”resort playground,” guaranteeing no boredom: in addition to various swimming pools, there's a lazy river, waterfall curtain, non-motorized water sports facilities, and more, complemented by numerous relaxation zones. Towels, mineral water, kickboards, and swimming rings are all readily available. There's even an e-sports area, which was astonishing. The overall greenery design is also aesthetically pleasing, and the outdoor public areas offer endless photo opportunities. My only regret is not booking an extra day. 4. **Abundant Dining Options:** There are many restaurants, and we didn't have a chance to try them all. Our room included social hour, drink vouchers, and the in-room mini-bar, providing more than enough to eat and drink. To be honest, the breakfast was visually more appealing than it was flavorful, but overall, it was definitely above average."
