I made a temporary reservation two days before departure and there were not many choices. There were basically only express hotels near the ancient city. The comments in the comments section were ”poor sound insulation, poor sanitation, noisy environment, small rooms” and so on. So I gave up convenience and chose living experience. Most of the guests in this hotel drive themselves. Parking is convenient and free, and transportation is convenient. Opposite the hotel is Peony Square and Peony Square subway station. Below the hotel is the very lively Guangzhou Street Night Market with many snacks. The hotel is clean, the decoration is new, the room is large enough, Xiaodu smart home control, and the basic hotel services are complete. The staff are all good, especially the floor cleaning ladies who are friendly and smiling. The housekeeper left a note and gave the child a small gift, which he liked very much. Not to mention how good the daily welcome fruit is, it’s just a piece of cake. I will give it a priority next time I come to Luoyang. I didn’t take any photos or borrow pictures.

Very satisfied, very clean. As soon as you get out of the subway, you are right in front of the hotel. Fried chicken is convenient. I have two kids with a lot of clothes. After I came back from the first day out, I found that the hotel thoughtfully sent us a clothes drying rack, which was perfect. Even if there was no water, we were given two extra bottles. It was a heartwarming hotel. We will come back next time. There is David's World opposite, which has a lot of food and a supermarket. I really enjoyed the large, non-smoking room I was given, and they even moved me to a quieter location overlooking the garden. When I checked in, they also gave me a protective sleeve for my card, which was very kind of them. Throughout my stay, I felt like I was given items I didn't know I needed or didn't expect, ex. slippers for the shower, a portable stand for my phone. So at one level, the service was amazing. However, at the same time, there were elements that felt a little off--when I asked for another bed cover, I was basically told by one of the staff that I didn't need it (?), and although on the whole the staff was very nice and polite, there were times when I felt slightly made light of. I wondered if it was in part because of my travelling solo as a woman. I'm thinking about what it means to present myself, if there's something more that needs to be done. Of course, respect is earned, but I'm just reflecting here. Otherwise, I enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and the location was rather convenient as well, just was a bit noisy before I was moved.

The staff are friendly and the room has a good view. The windows are big and facing Luoyang Square. The parking is good and the soundproofing is OK. But when I woke up in the afternoon, the waiter did not open the door and the response was very smart. He immediately closed the door and gave me snacks. I am a man and I am still wearing clothes. This hotel really made my eyes shine! As soon as I stepped into the room, I felt the brand new decoration atmosphere, as if telling me that everything here is the latest and best. Superb views over the old town towards the reconstructed Tang gates (btw the museum dedicated to the archaeology of the Tang gate foundations is superb), the hotel is in a great location not far from the river and local restaurants. Great shower, large room with comfortable bed, checkout time 4pm which was really useful, would definitely stay again.
