My Place Hotel-Lubbock, TX

This was my first time staying at My Place. They are uniquely different from other hotels in the area. It was perfect for my trip and pet. Melissa was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. She made sure that I was familiar with the property and enjoyed my stay. I did enjoy the ‘breakfast in bed’ option, but wished they had pricing along with signage. Other than that, it was a perfect experience.

First time to stay at this chain. Very clean rooms and facility. Soft beds and fluffy pillows. They have a breakfast that you pay for separately and they bring it to your room.

Parking was easy, room clean, great customer service. No need for breakfast if they keep the good quality and price low.

They have the old-school air conditioners that can get lower than 66 degrees. That was huge! Room was a little dirty at check-in was the only bad thing. Just needed to be vacuumed better and wiped down in the bathroom better. There was an issue with our bathroom sink, but they fixed it right up fast! Very friendly staff and very helpful!

Check in took 20 mins, because staff was not at desk due to an issue at the hotel. Then my card doesn’t work - went back downstairs waited another 20 mins. The room was not clean. Shower pull would not go up all the way so the shower was half pressure. Dead bugs in the light above the door.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room left a lot to be desired and had maintenance issues. The place is really small.

The room was kept well, and the front desk clerk operated well under the pressure of a fully booked hotel.

I’ve stayed at My Place Hotel-Lubbock, TX twice now, and both visits have been consistently solid. The amenities are basic, but everything is clean, comfortable, and reliable—exactly what you want from an affordable stay. It’s a great value for the price, and I’d definitely choose it again when I’m in the area.

Staff was courteous. My only complaint was uncomfortable pillows and loud footsteps above my room.
