Jing Land Palace Hotel (Phousi Mountain Sunset Viewpoint &Downtown Mekong Riverside Hotel)

Excellent hotel! They allowed me to check in early. It's located right next to Puxi Mountain, and there's a convenient shortcut to Foreigner Street. The breakfast spread is quite good, and the swimming pool and other facilities are all well-equipped. It's a peaceful retreat in the midst of a bustling area.

Seriously, how has no one discovered this hidden gem of a hotel yet?! I chose Jinglan because they offer pick-up and drop-off service for a two-night stay. I'd read some reviews beforehand, and they seemed good overall, but actually checking in was a series of wonderful surprises! First, the location is prime – right in the city center, halfway up Mount Phousi. You can just walk down to the night market, and the morning market is also within walking distance. Super convenient! As for the environment, what you see in the photos is exactly what you get. It's clean, has a distinctive local flavor, and the pool, restaurant, and other facilities are all well-equipped. The rooms are spotless! I stayed for three nights and got to experience the king bed room, pool view, and garden room – all with fantastic views! The front desk staff can speak a little Chinese, and the manager is actually Chinese too! When I extended my stay, my room wasn't quite ready, so I had to wait a short while. But the owner even prepared a small gift for me when I checked out. The service truly is outstanding!! A huge thank you!! I highly recommend Jinglan for anyone visiting Luang Prabang for the first time!!!

The hotel service was excellent. We booked two nights and received complimentary station transfers. The front desk also offered Chinese-speaking service, which made everything very hassle-free. The breakfast was delicious, with a rich variety including pho, rice noodles, and fried rice. The breakfast hours were also great, available until 10 AM, allowing us to sleep in.

This is one of the best hotels in Luang Prabang, offering spectacular views and an elegant atmosphere, with Chinese-speaking service available. Each standalone villa boasts a blend of classical and modern amenities. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of three major attractions: Mount Phousi, the Royal Palace, and Wat Xieng Thong.

The room was very clean, the environment was good, and the pool water was also very clean. It's perfect for a relaxing vacation.

This hotel is located near Mount Phousi. It's a 5-minute downhill walk from the front entrance to the main street, while the back entrance offers direct access to the mountain top. The front entrance is also a 10-minute walk downhill to the night market (foreigner street). The hotel provides complimentary pick-up (with a sign held at the exit gate) and drop-off service at the station. The front desk staff can communicate in Chinese, so there are no language barriers. There's a swimming pool, and breakfast consists of Lao noodles and simple pastries. They also provide complimentary snacks, water, and drinks. Wi-Fi is available, and the TV offers two CCTV channels, other Lao, Thai, and English channels, and also supports screen mirroring. While the room facilities are a bit old, they are still functional. Local SIM cards are available for purchase, and the hotel can arrange private car hire to places like Kuang Si Falls. The private car driver was very friendly.

What a pleasant surprise to find such a high-value hotel! Perched halfway up the mountain, it offers stunning views of the Mekong River and the Grand Palace. Below, the city buzzes with life, while up here, it's a tranquil retreat! The owner and staff are all super friendly and accommodating. My only regret is that I only stayed for one night!
