Luang Prabang is a relaxing town. The resort provided the same relaxing vibe for those seeking to destress from busy cities. Centrally located and waking distance to most places of interests. For slightly further places, you may rent an e-bike or scooter to ride around town

My first stay here was great and I posted positive review. Unfortunately, my second stay did not go as planned. When I arrived, the hotel informed me that there had been a booking mix-up and that they did not have a room available for me. They arranged another hotel on the other side of town and provided a car to take me there which took about 20 mins under heat. They explained that the alternative hotel was more expensive and had a swimming pool, and they also arranged a free airport transfer as an apology. I appreciate the effort they made to find a solution and compensate for the inconvenience. However, the alternative hotel was not really equivalent for my needs. It was same price as this one, not expensive as mentioned. The location was less convenient for my liking, especially because I wanted to experience the morning alms-giving ceremony near the original hotel. The breakfast at the alternative hotel was also not as good. The biggest issue was the bed. It consisted of two twin beds pushed together, which created an uncomfortable gap and made it very difficult to sleep. I eventually had to get up during the night and separate the beds so I could sleep in the middle of one of them. Overall, I appreciate that the original hotel staff tried to handle the situation and offered compensation, but having my confirmed booking moved to another property on arrival was still a disappointing experience. For anyone planning to stay here, I’d suggest messaging them in advance to confirm your room.

The hotel is brand new, and you can see the daily lives of the temple monks right from your balcony. There are 8 breakfast sets to choose from, all delicious, and they also offer yogurt and fruit. Upon check-in, we received welcome drinks, and the staff could communicate in simple Chinese. This hotel is definitely the top choice for experiencing the alms-giving ceremony in the early morning.

The breakfast was pretty good, with many set meal options. I'd recommend the omelets and fried eggs. However, the drinks weren't freshly squeezed, and the coffee was instant, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel itself is beautiful, perfect for photos from every angle! The service was also excellent; everyone was smiling, which made for a very pleasant experience. Most importantly, it's very close to the almsgiving location, making it convenient for the morning almsgiving ceremony.

Chinese travelers, this is the place to stay! I booked this hotel blindly, and the front desk staff, who spoke some Chinese, was incredibly friendly. The courtyard is lovely, and there's a subtle, pleasant scent in the room – very comfortable. Breakfast was especially fantastic, with six different set meals to choose from (see pic). For less than 300, the service and cleanliness are better than what you'd find in a 500+ hotel back home in China. It's truly amazing value! It's also very close to the Foreigners Street and Wat Xieng Thong, just a few hundred meters walk.

As other reviews mentioned, breakfast includes a fruit platter, homemade yogurt (delicious), and your choice of Asian or Western options. The Banh Mi was delicious. The male staff member was very kind and spoke excellent English. He helped us book a shared bus to Kuang Si, which was a great help.
