My BanLao Hotel

The exterior of the hotel looks quite nice overall, but the inside feels more like a guesthouse. The room decoration is very mediocre. In the bathroom, the large overhead shower sprays unevenly; the handheld shower is okay, but the wall bracket won't hold it in place—not sure why they haven't fixed it. There was an aroma diffuser next to the bathtub, and the liquid inside was moldy, meaning it probably hadn't been changed in a long time. The quality of the toiletries provided is also very average. To make matters worse, the breakfast is truly indescribable—very limited variety and not tasty at all. Secondly, and most importantly, during our two-night stay, someone downstairs was playing extremely loud viral pop music through speakers. It was noisy all morning and still going on all afternoon.

The hotel is very new and offers great photo opportunities. A major plus is the shuttle service to places like Foreigner Street Night Market, saving on taxi fares. The breakfast was delicious, and the room environment was excellent for taking pictures. All the staff were incredibly enthusiastic; they even helped me retrieve a bag I'd left at a previous hotel. There was even a souvenir provided at checkout. I'll definitely stay at My BanLao Hotel again on my next visit.

Highly recommended! Everyone visiting Luang Prabang should stay here at My BanLao Hotel. You can access the pool right from your room. The hotel's facilities are very new, and the staff are professional and friendly. The biggest bonus is the free shuttle service to the station and daily shuttle bus, which saves guests a lot on transportation costs (the high-speed rail station is quite a distance from the city center).

I really like the style of this hotel. It's pretty clean, and the service is very attentive. The staff are enthusiastic and they even offer a free electric shuttle service for pickups and drop-offs to hotels in the city center, which I think is a commendable perk.

I stayed for 3 nights! It's a bit far from the city center, but the hotel can arrange pick-up and drop-off if you ask! It's about a 20-minute walk. I thought it would have been better if there was a curtain or some kind of partition for the bathtub in the room. Also, half a gecko fell from the air conditioner above the bathtub... At night, there are a lot of geckos near the room entrance, so if you're not good with insects, be careful...

^_^ Great service, I liked the cleanliness and the food tasted good. I went during the boat race festival, so there was a lot of traffic, but the hotel still provided transportation to the temple.

This hotel was recommended by a friend who previously traveled to Laos, so I decided to book it. The room was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. They have a turtle, and guests can feed it if they wish. The pool is deep and professional, with many people genuinely swimming, making it great for both relaxation and exercise. Plus, the mojito cocktails at the poolside bar are absolutely delicious. It's a bit of a walk from the city center, but they offer shuttle services to places like the night market, so you won't feel inconvenienced.

I booked a pool access room specifically for the hotel's beautiful pool, which made it very convenient to go for a swim. The hotel is quite friendly to Chinese guests, with some staff speaking Chinese, which was helpful. There's a popular 'Lotus Restaurant' nearby, and it was only a three to four-minute drive from where we stayed at Aman.
