Stayed here on 3rd May, family of 4, 2 young children. Went to bed early after a day of travelling and were woken up around 9.45pm by the room above, sounded like children jumping off the bed, people walking/running around, dragging and dropping things on the floor, bathroom noises. Eventually it stopped around 10.30pm. It then started again at 3am and continued till 3.45am. My husband and I were awake during this time, and for some time after. Fortunately, despite one child being unsettled, the other one somehow slept through it. First thing in the morning, my husband went to tell reception and ask about the Good Night Guarantee, he was directed to fill in a form, which we did. We have now been told that Premier Inn will not do anything about this as we didn't tell reception at the time. They have failed to acknowledge how we were meant to do this when their terms and conditions don't state this must be done immediately, and also how this is possible without waking everyone up in the room, and then further disturbing our neighbours! Even had we had known this (it doesn't say anywhere), it was not feasible for one of us to get dressed and go down to reception (in another building) at 3am without waking both our children and losing more sleep?! Clearly Premier Inn are doing everything they can to not honour their "Guarantee". If they actually cared and wanted to do this properly, at check in, it should clearly be stated how to contact Reception 24 hours without the need to leave your room, eg maybe through a WhatsApp service, but obviously they don't want to do this! Very poor customer service, clearly just being fobbed off. For future reference, if you're ever woken up, go down to reception and tell them and then shout down the corridor and tell everyone else you've just woken up, that they all need to go down at the same time! Maybe you'll get somewhere then!
