Dunes Inn - Sunset

The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but not too far out of Los Angeles. Fortunately, there's a large supermarket nearby, making shopping and eating convenient. However, Los Angeles is so big that you have to drive about 20 kilometers to get anywhere. The room was small; it was cramped with three suitcases. The bathroom was fairly large. A digital card in the car indicates a very large and free parking lot, which was a major selling point. The $1100 daily parking fee is a bit expensive, but there are very few places in Los Angeles that offer free parking close to the city center. There was no microwave, only a refrigerator.

Although the facilities were a bit dated, the bed was comfortable, though the room wasn't large. The location was excellent, with a 7-Eleven and Burger King just next door, and a large supermarket (Target) and Welgreen within a 5-minute walk, making it very convenient. Hotel parking felt safe.

The price is cheap, and it's close to Hollywood and the Observatory. However, the accommodation is terrible; I wouldn't stay there again. There are some fast food restaurants nearby, and it's close to Target.

The air conditioner in my room wasn't working, so I had to change rooms. It's a typical motel. Shampoo and conditioner were provided. I didn't use the subway this time, but it's a bit of a distance to the station. There's a Target, a Panda Chinese restaurant, and a 7-Eleven nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding food.

The location is convenient, but other aspects are just average.
