Good location, good amenities, but small rooms. Not great value for money

The location was great and the staffs were nice! The room is small than I was expected.

1. The air conditioning in the room wasn't working at all on the first day of my stay, and it was so hot at night that I couldn't sleep. I called the front desk, and they said they would bring a fan, but after waiting for 30 minutes, it never arrived. I called again the next day, and the front desk kept saying they needed to "check," showing no sincerity in resolving the issue. In the end, they just told me to move my luggage and change rooms myself in the middle of the night—a woman with a full suitcase, and they expect me to go through that in the middle of the night? 2. Terrible attitude and complete lack of empathy. I went downstairs to the lobby to confront the manager, who only brought two fans, without even offering to help carry them upstairs. He was completely indifferent, leaving me to carry two large fans back to my room myself. The manager was impatient on the phone and showed no apology in person, completely disregarding the comfort and safety of guests. Their service awareness was zero. 3. Extremely low value for money, not living up to its name. I paid the price of a five-star hotel but received service worse than a motel: equipment malfunctions weren't addressed promptly, staff were rude, and there was no basic assistance with luggage. This level of service and attitude is completely unworthy of the price. I will never come here again, and I also advise all friends who come to LA to avoid this store!

Security: During my midday nap, an unidentified man used a key card to open my room door. I complained to the hotel front desk that same day, but even today—half a month later—I still haven't received any follow-up or resolution. In a country where gun ownership is legal, how can safety be guaranteed? With such arrogant service, would any customer dare to book this hotel? This was a truly terrifying travel experience.

The Hoxton was the first accommodation on our road trip, and we were very pleased. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and the bathroom was really great. Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. All in all, we would highly recommend the hotel!

The hotel is located in downtown Los Angeles, suitable for business trips. The check-in time is just the Chinese New Year, and the cost performance is not high
