The room is generally good. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. The parking fee is indeed very expensive. Hotel Wi-Fi costs extra, unless you're a member. I've noticed this is pretty common in Los Angeles.

The room was great! Definitely remember to book an M CLUB room, which comes with free breakfast and a $50 voucher you can use at the downstairs bar – the food there is delicious. However, the inexplicable alarm that went off at 6 AM the next morning was absolutely infuriating. Also, I think I lost an earbud in room no. 1514. If you find it, could you please deliver it to the Holiday Inn EL Monte-Los Angeles by IHG, 9920 Valley Blvd, 1st floor? Many thanks, Xu Yueqing

I had an excellent stay at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott. The front desk team was incredibly welcoming and efficient—check-in was a breeze and they made sure to recognize my status right away. The real highlight is the M Club Lounge on the 18th floor. It is hands down better than any other hotel lounge in the LAX area. The panoramic views of the runways are spectacular, and the space is modern and well-stocked. The breakfast spread was extensive with plenty of hot options. If you have lounge access, this property is the clear winner at the airport.

The hotel has a balcony and a resort-style feel. There's a swimming pool, a Starbucks, and car rental right in the lobby.

Close to the airport with a free shuttle service, which was very convenient. The room was clean and tidy.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Ctrip showed I only needed to pay $16.54 at the property after prepaying, but they actually charged me $58.46. They also charged an additional $38.50 for parking (even though I didn't have a car). When checking out, they handed me bills for $199 and $48.38. This feels like a rip-off.

The owner said the location is better than Hyatt, so I'd definitely book again next time. The airport shuttle bus is very convenient, running every 15-20 minutes, so there's almost no waiting time.

When I booked, the M Club room at this hotel was even cheaper than a standard room, so definitely book the M Club. You get access to the executive lounge, which, while not amazing, has a good selection of Swiss chocolate powder, tea bags, carbonated drinks, fruit, and various milks. The best part is you can also have breakfast there; though the variety isn't huge, it has all the essentials like scrambled eggs and sausages. There were three of us, and while Ctrip said only two could have breakfast, that's actually incorrect. Everyone in the room can eat at the M Club, as long as your room card can open the door. Make sure the front desk adds M Club access to your room key during check-in. We found out late at night that our card didn't work and had to go back down to get it updated. The airport shuttle runs roughly every half hour, located on the departure level of each terminal. Once you exit, you'll find a red sign for 'Hotel Shuttle' where all hotel shuttles stop. Just wait for the Marriott's white big bus. The room itself was decent, quite spacious, and the bathroom was bright and clean.

The shower only had lukewarm water, the sink's water pressure was insufficient, the faucet was stiff, and the AC was too noisy. It was a very poor experience. If you need parking, remember to book it in advance at the nearby Spectrum parking lot; it'll be much cheaper there. The hotel charges $70 a night, which is way too expensive.

True to the Marriott brand, even though the hotel is a bit older, the facilities and service are still top-notch. A few things to note: 1. The airport shuttle is very convenient. 2. If you're staying in a W room, breakfast is free on the 18th floor but charged on the ground floor. 3. There's no complimentary bottled water in the room, but you can ask the front desk upon check-in.

This hotel was suitable for an overnight stay near the airport. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. As a Marriott member, I was supposed to have free Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi fee was deducted from my deposit, which was inconvenient as I had to request a refund. They didn't provide a receipt when refunding the deposit, so it's important to double-check everything carefully.

Hotel near the airport with a shuttle bus. The staff were very nice and helped with our luggage. The steak at JW Steakhouse was good.

location right by the airport—ideal not only for layovers but also for exploring Los Angeles if you have a rental car. Hotel parking is pricey at $67 per night, but the nearby Airport Spectrum garage next door was only $18 when booked through SpotHero. I loved the pool area!
