The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful, meticulous, and enthusiastic. The owner even came out to meet me, worried I wouldn't find the place. The location is great, with the balcony offering an almost panoramic view of the rice terraces, which was fantastic. Overall, it's excellent value for money. As for the scenic area itself, I came at the right time, and the scenery was indeed beautiful. However, the management of the scenic area is severely lacking. The basic infrastructure is quite inadequate: signposts are few and unclear, some even overgrown with plants. The driving roads are narrow; I strongly advise against visiting if your car only has a small fuel tank. The walking paths have no safety railings or unified planning. The public restrooms are filthy and seem like they haven't been maintained in centuries. Trash is strewn everywhere. It's completely not worth the 80 RMB entrance fee. And you think that's all? Besides the entrance ticket, other fees pile up: parking, shuttle buses, cable cars, and so on – it's one charge after another. The so-called rules of the scenic area seem entirely designed to force tourists to spend this money. Plus, at the village entrance, locals constantly solicit business: accommodation, food, paid rides up the mountain, etc. It's easy to get scammed if you're not careful, and the scenic area management completely turns a blind eye. Our trip to Longji Terraces was truly heartwarming! The guesthouse was clean and comfortable, with amazing views. The owner was incredibly kind and enthusiastic; after we got lost in the mountains, he not only drove to pick us up but also helped us find a ride and escorted us all the way back to the guesthouse. To top it all off, he even upgraded us to a mountain view room for free! We could just lie in bed and enjoy the beautiful terraced landscapes. The experience was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend!

The astronaut-themed castle at the front desk is really well-designed. I booked this guesthouse specifically to watch the sunrise, so I set an alarm and waited, but it turned out to be cloudy. I visited the hotel during the coldest part of winter. The room's entrance had a Mijia smart lock, and the air conditioning was excellent, plus there was an electric blanket, making it very warm. Perfect stay! The owner and the family where extremely welcome and kind. The owner came to pick us up at the parking and the father in law brought us back to the parking to catch our bus. The views are absolutely stunning! You don't even need to leave your room; just look out the window. The service completely exceeded my expectations. The owner is incredibly nice, helping with transportation, providing an electric blanket if you're cold, and even lending a charging cable when I forgot mine. I have to commend the owner's service; they were in constant communication with us from the moment we booked, providing detailed information about directions and things to note.
