Premier Inn Heathrow Airport Terminal 4

The hotel is just a walking distance from T4 Heathrow airport, where there is a crossover bridge for you to walk from T4 departure hall. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the service of the hotel need to be uplifted especially during checking time at 3pm.

Let me start by saying ironically there is nothing premier about Premier Inn. Starting with the entrance which for someone coming by bus is inconvenient… upon entering the basement entrance, there was nobody to assist. Nobody at reception of the basement. You kind of have to figure things out. I bumped into an elderly couple that couldn’t figure out the entrance. On the plus they did like that they have a 24/7 Costa. The room was clean. However the shower has the fixed shower head, not a detachable one, so in 8 degrees all the best avoiding water on your head. Given they don’t provide shower caps either, it’s a tussle. The heater didn’t work for me… neither did the aircon option so the room didn’t have much ventilation. The walls are thin, and wood of the doors chipping away. While the staff were helpful and helped me store my luggage the next day, I found them more interested in speaking to each other than being hospitable. Would not book here again.

The Premier Inn is good value for money and I specifically chose to stay there as it is located at Terminal 4. You can reach it with a short walk and don't have to rely on a taxi or airport shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel. Terminal 4 itself is well connected with the free train between the terminals. The staff was super helpful and friendly, at reception as well as in the restaurant where I had a meal. The food was really good, so was the service, and the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I had a lot of luggage and they encouraged me to just leave the luggage on the trolley and go with the trolley in the hotel room. This was perfect and I really appreciated it. It meant in the morning, I could cruise right out and back to check-in without too much of hassle. I would stay there again, and have already recommended the hotel to friends and family. This hotel perfectly fits the purpose of a place to stay for a layover before taking the next flight.

I stayed here on 14.11.225 I loved every minute at this hotel. I had lots of luggage, one of the managers helped me take it upstairs (level 1) for storage. All staff were really friendly and helpful. I had 2 children and they gave me a room with 3 beds with airport view. My boy was so excited to see the planes take off. Definitely the best place to stay especially if flying from terminal 4, you can walk. It’s a 10/10 for me
