I was so happy that I found The Frangipani Beach resort! I loved the idea that it is a smaller hotel. We had booked a “girlfriends” vacation and everyone in the group was impressed and happy. Once we checked in at the front desk by the beautiful spa pool, we were escorted to our villa and given a tour. Of course, as soon as we could, we all jumped into the ocean. The beach is spectacular. Once thing you will notice about Anguilla (and Mead’s Bay Beach) is how clean it is. We enjoyed our first night’s dinner at Straw Hat. I loved the simply grilled fresh red snapper and recommend. My friends loved their dishes as well. One had the vegetable gyoza dumplings and another had the seared honey rosemary pork chop. On another day, we enjoyed lunch at Straw Hat. It is a great place for lunch, too and the view of the water is spectacular. The staff at Frangipani made us feel like VIPs! I think it really is a wonderful place. Thank you Frangipani!

We just returned from our 10th stay at Frangipani. 10 wonderful days with fabulous weather. Manager,John Vasatka, is hands on and has an excellent staff from top down that are all so friendly and work hard to make everyone’s vacation special. We love the small size of the resort and seeing other repeat guests year after year. We are already booked for next year. Thanks to all at Frangipani!

My husband and I in planning a trip to celebrate our 50th anniversary, after considering a vast number of locations decided on a trip back to Anguilla, specifically Frangipanni Beach Resort. We had vacationed there for many years with our children and had so many great memories. Frangipanni Resort exceeded our expectation! Under the expert leadership of manager John Vasatka, this boutique resort exemplifies seamless first class service. The resort is meticulously maintained, the entire staff is wonderful from beach side service to housekeeping to front desk staff. Our stay was just perfect. Straw Hat , the restaurant on the resort was fabulous. Service was great and the food amazing. We are already looking forward to returning next year. Kudos Frangipanni!

My husband, myself, and our 11-month-old baby girl spent 6 nights at Frangipani in January 2024, and it was an amazing experience! Honestly, words can't express the perfection of Frangipani and Meads Bay. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Frangipani is a slice of paradise. When we travel, there are a few things that are incredibly important to us, and I thought that our experience might be helpful for others traveling (or considering) Frangipani: 1) Service - Just wonderful. Everyone was so kind and really made the experience memorable. They also went above and beyond to make sure that we were having a great time. For example, we needed to get an item for our baby from the grocery store. John offered to take me in his car to the store, helped me find the item, and brought me back to the resort. It meant a lot to have a support system at Frangipani, especially since we were traveling with a baby. Also, I didn't realize that Frangipani was able to drop off/pick up at nearby restaurants in the golf cart. That was such a great feature that we used, instead of renting a car. 2) Room - We stayed in one of the one-bedroom rooms, which was an absolutely perfect location for us. We were on the first floor and right next to the pool, so that the baby could nap, and we could hang by the pool with the baby monitor. The set-up was great, with two full bathrooms and a ton of space. Perfect for a family with a baby! 3) Air-conditioning - The a/c was absolutely excellent! 4) Water pressure and hot water - Both were perfect! 5) Location - Perfect. Meads Bay is a spectacular beach! It was very quiet and calm, and just perfect to have our baby crawl and play with the gentle waves. We also loved at how there were so many excellent restaurants within walking distance of Frangipani. We also really enjoyed that we could have Straw Hat deliver food directly to our room. It was so nice to enjoy excellent food while baby slept. We didn't rent a car during this trip, but we were still able to enjoy many nearby restaurants. The staff at Frangipani were also able to help us with a taxi for a few dinners. We have already booked our trip back to Frangipani for next year and we can't wait!

This was our second time to Anguilla. We are seasoned world travelers. I kept seeing this resort splash across T&L, CN, etc so it sparked my interest to book upon our return this year. It was a disappointment. The only positive things I can say about this resort is that it is small and in the center of Meads Bay. Room: We had the deluxe ocean room above the restaurant. I don't rec this room due to lack of privacy. There was always someone walking behind your room to access stairs. This was very odd bc the ppl were using their sliding door of the back of their room instead of the front door. I would rec the hotel rope this off so this doesn't happen. There is no reason why people can't use their front door. Water was luke warm with mild pressure in the shower. It was impossible to sleep due to light coming into the room at night. The front door has windows running up and down and the hallway lights just shine through. Otherwise room was spacious, quiet, and clean. Mattress was comfortable. Beach: Meads Bay beach is OK. Beach preferences vary depending on the person but if you are looking for calmer water I would recommend Maunday's bay. It was too wavy to go in for most of our time there and the locals told us it is usually pretty wavy relative to other areas this time of year. Their beach property is small so you don't have much space between chairs. It is one single row of chairs so far back you can't even see the shore. While we were there they placed a couple closer to the shore so they could get direct sun but then it was in front of other guests (see pic). Who wants that!? Only positive with beach experience at this property is they have a flag to order drinks. Oh and be prepared-the sand on this beach is very deep so hard to do a walk along the bay. Staff/Management: Only one person went out of her way and smiled. She was the owner's friend of the restaurant on site there, Straw Hat. Thank you to her. She was very sweet. When I was checking out the GM happened to be near the front desk. I only knew he was the GM bc someone had pointed it out previously. Usually in a small property like this they introduce themselves and ask how your stay was etc. Nothing except "are you going home now?" I had the pleasure to tell him no but that we were going to Cap Juluca. A recommendation for the GM: Next time introduce yourself and ask the guest how their stay was, etc. Also, when we checked in no one told us that the resort provides free rides to the nearby restaurants. Another guest informed me of that nice amenity on our last day. Would have been nice to know... In summary, I can't recommend this property. I don't think its worth the $1300 we paid a night. Last year we stayed at the Manoah for about $550. Although the Manoah has its own issues, its priced right and in my opinion on the best beach in Anguilla (Shoal Bay East). So save money and stay at the Manoah. If you have extra money to spend then no question stay at Cap Juluca. We have staye

This was our fourth stay at Frangipani. It is a truly special place. Yes the location is great and it’s a beautiful boutique property but the staff is the standout here. We also love the relaxed atmosphere and having Straw Hat on property . John the Manager ( along with his sidekick Sunny) is hands on . He is professional, soothing and a joy to be around. My husband suffered a medical emergency one evening and the staff, especially Daniel sprung into action and were super helpful. Lovasco and Juman will take great care of you at the beach or pool. It was a pleasure to be greeted by them each morning. We come during the same time every year….and so do several other guests. We saw a lot of familiar faces from past years that we now consider friends. We booked next year’s stay before departure on this trip. This property has a loyal, repeat following. If you’re considering booking, I recommend doing sooner rather than later

My globetrotter husband and I have visited several Caribbean islands, and Anguilla is the only island we repeatedly have on rotation! While we've stayed at other hotels on Meads (Four Seasons / Quintessence), after exploring other venues, Frangipani's location, service and amenities have us coming back for our fourth visit... Location - Right on Meads Bay (arguably the best beach on Anguilla, although all beaches on island are fantastic) and a quick drive to Best Buy for groceries, Cap Juluca, and a great central spot for island exploration. Personalized, Friendly Service - For example, when we asked for a tea kettle during our previous stay, John (the manager) went out of his way to purchase one and personally deliver it to our room the same day while we were at dinner (a very belated thanks to John, as this was back in 2021!) No questions asked, no need for a follow up. Amenities - Oceanfront pool, hobie cat, water sports, day trips...beach hopping excursions on FrangiCat (resident motor boat!) Straw Hat - Convenient and laid back restaurant perched right on the beach, with delicious local fare (beach chair service included!) There are also several top notch restaurants within walking distance (Blanchard's, Ocean Echo, Jacala, Four Seasons, just to name a few.) During one of our visits we opted to not rent a car and just vegged out on Meads Bay, walking to and from dinners on the beach and never hit the concrete...yes, there are that many solid options nearby! Vibe - Low key, unassuming scene is refreshing and perfect for unplugging from daily routines / work stress. We visited during both high season (Dec holiday week) and Feb - Apr, and the hotel never feels crowded. Love the boutique setting, palapas and overall island flair - something you won't get at some of the larger 5-star accommodations on the island. Oh, and we also love that Frangipani is family-owned! :) Frangipani ticks all our boxes!

We have been to a number of Caribbean islands and have found Anguilla to be tops. It is yet been overbuilt and run through by bulldozers and tourists. We like the beaches even a bit better than Turks. We have been here to Anguilla a few times sampling different hotels to see which ones are the best fit. Frangi is overrated overpriced. The Meads bay beach is decent but some of the waves were Cabo like and a lot of people are not going in the water. Shoal Bay Beach for the most part has been better for us. The complaints about frangi included water pressure and temperature it takes 5 minutes to get hot water from faucet and shower head. The water pressure is absolutely ridiculous. It is not a comfortable shower. You can barely wash your face in the sink. I asked about it with no response. They're also windows on our front door which brought in light and there was no way to adequately cover them and the whole night there was light in our room which is highly annoying to where we had to wear shirts over our eyes. I quickly learned that behind our unit and others is a crosswalk way to other units so if you're lounging on your back patio people walk right past you and will wave and say hi on their way to their unit If you are into a good dinner the Straw Hat is not the place to go. Their breakfast and lunch is a C average. You need to ask 20 times for your bill and you may get it. Blanchards and 4 seasons close by and are good. We have also tried the Manoah Hotel the Shoal beach Is amazing but the staff are very rude Not very accommodating And Mattress Will require a back surgeon. But the price point is very good. No brainer go to the Manoa over frangi. If you have the money obviously go to Cap.

Words can’t describe the amazing time we had! The people and resort are exceptional. We stayed in the new rooms (11) and had the most spectacular sunset! We had no noise from the restaurant below, the restaurant closes at 9.It was our 10 year anniversary and we couldn’t have celebrated in a better place 🧡
