Montagu Place Hotel

Marylebone London|0.36km from The Mirror Bar
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Montagu Place Hotel in London, and I am delighted to share my exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff made me feel truly special, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I would like to express my sincere gratitude and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to future guests. First and foremost, the location of Montagu Place Hotel played a significant role in my decision to book. Being in close proximity to the Old Marylebone Townhall, where my wedding ceremony took place, was incredibly convenient. It eliminated any stress associated with transportation and allowed me to fully enjoy the magical moments leading up to our big day. What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the very beginning, they exhibited genuine warmth and hospitality, showing a keen interest in our wedding plans. The staff even took note of our wedding date during the check-in process, which proved to be a thoughtful gesture that enhanced our experience. To my surprise and delight, the hotel generously offered complimentary breakfast throughout our stay. This kind gesture provided us with the perfect start to each day and ensured we were well-nourished and ready for the wedding preparations. Additionally, on our wedding day, the staff presented us with a delightful bottle of sparkling wine, adding an extra touch of celebration and joy to our special day. Every member of the Montagu Place Hotel staff was professional, polite, and genuinely helpful. They were always available to answer any questions we had and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and valued. Their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction were truly commendable. The hotel itself exudes elegance and charm. The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining modern amenities with classic design elements. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep before the big day. The cleanliness and attention to detail were remarkable, contributing to an overall enjoyable and memorable stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Montagu Place Hotel to anyone visiting London, whether for a special occasion like a wedding or for a leisure or business trip. The exceptional service, convenient location, and warm atmosphere make it a true gem in the heart of the city. I am immensely grateful for the outstanding experience and look forward to returning to Montagu Place Hotel in the future. Thank you to the entire team at Montagu Place Hotel for making our wedding experience even more unforgettable.

This time I stayed with my friends. The hotel lobby is 100% beautiful, and the staff are very wired. When they saw us carrying so much luggage, they came to help immediately. But maybe the hotel has a certain history, so the room facilities are relatively dusty, and the mattress is very hard. I live in a suite, the toilet is very big, but the decoration is not so modern.

I booked this hotel with business activities nearby. The location is superb and the front desk can be strengthened because I have to get up early the next day and told the front desk to have a relatively quiet room. An Eastern European lady responded: Madam You are noisy in central London! OK, I said relatively quietly! The result was the room on the side of Marylebone train station. I didn't sleep at all that night, it was quite sour. Thank you in advance to this Eastern European chick! The hotel location is superb, you can walk to Sherlock Holmes's house for a few minutes, Madame Tussauds for a few minutes, and the relative location is very central! The room was clean and tidy.

Location is very well located (5 minutes walk from Bakerstreet, Marylebone and Edgward road stations) which allows you to connect to all London. The accommodation is clean, well equipped with all the necessary as specified in the ad (washing, bed linen, towels, towel, toilet product, washing, coffee maker, boiler, bread grill, etc.). The accommodation is small but very well arranged so perfect for two and the time you want (short or long stay). In the immediate vicinity of many shops and restaurants. I stayed in apartment 3 in the DRC (26m2) - really happy! I will return without hesitation if I travel to London again. Thank you for everything !

Although only 2 stars this is a very good hotel in a nice location. Only 5 minutes walk from Baker Street station it was easy to find. On arrival the guy at reception kindly gave us an upgrade. I had booked a single room and a double room separately and was offered 2 double rooms next to each other or a large family room. We took the 2 double rooms which were on the 4th floor at the back of the building so nice and quiet with a decent view. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and each had a shower room and small kitchen area with table and chairs. Handy for breakfast in the morning. Tea and coffee were provided and there’s a Tesco express close by if you want to buy food. As this is quite a small hotel in a Georgian townhouse there is no lift so this could be an issue if you have mobility problems or have heavy luggage. There’s also restaurants and cafes close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed with our stay here, which was supposed to be a Valentine’s getaway. We were given a room in another building over the road in a basement. It was very dark and dingy with no view and a constant generator noise. We were told there were no other rooms available. It was also very cold in the basement and we called reception who came over and told us to give it time to heat up. After about an hour it was still cold so they gave us a fan heater. I think it’s reasonable to expect them to heat up the room prior to guests arriving if they know it’s colder in the basement. I’d just come out of hospital the day before and this was supposed to be a treat. The room was tiny too and the TV is situated on a wall where it can only be seen on one side of the bed. The building is nice to look at and the bathroom was a decent size but overall disappointed.
