Had an absolutely brilliant time here, despite the match score! Neil and Steve were great all weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and the accommodation was clean and ideal. Will definitely rebook when I'm in town again. Thank you all for making it a weekend to remember!
Staycity Aparthotels London Greenwich High Road

Very good location - a lot of attractions are within walking distance and DLR stations, train station and bus stops are nearby. The room was large, clean and tidy, we can cook simple breakfast and dinner with the kitchen utilities provided. The staffs are friendly and helpful, they helped us to keep some of our luggage during the period we had a cruise trip.
Heathrow Airport (M4/J4)

Heathrow
Stayed here for 1 night to pick our daughter up from Heathrow. Our 12 year old son loves planes so we thought we'd kill two birds. Although the hotel is a 5min drive from the airport we could still see the planes taking off. The reception staff made sure we had a room that faced the airport, which was greatly appreciated. Sheena especially, on reception, was extremely kind and helpful when my son continued to ask for items (more tea bags, milk, pillows etc). She gave him a selection of free snacks too. The breakfast was delicious and good value. Room clean and tidy. Overall lovely stay here at Premier Inn (M4/J4). Thank you.
Bay Tree House Bed & Breakfast
4.7/522 Reviews
A cost-effective homestay, the owner is friendly and attentive, the house is clean and comfortable, the garden is beautiful, and the owner has spent a lot of effort in decorating it. The transportation is also convenient, a few hundred meters away from the subway station, it feels better than staying in a hotel.

There is no Elbe and the facilities are a bit messy overall. Still, the location is good and early check-in is good, and luggage is kept before and after check-in. I recommend it.

No extra bed, the two beds have been joined together, with children can live together, good location, good breakfast, do not eat at noon in the morning, except for children who do not eat at night are not a big problem, there are convenience stores around not expensive

An Introduction to London: UK's Vibrant Capital

London, the capital city of the United Kingdom, is situated along the famous River Thames. Known for its iconic landmarks, diverse culture, and captivating history, London offers a myriad of experiences for every traveler. Here's a fun fact: London was the first city in the world to have an underground subway system, fondly known as 'the Tube'.

Navigating Your Way to London

Most international visitors arrive via London's key airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, or Stansted. From there, trains, buses, or taxis offer convenient travel into the city. If you're not a UK citizen, it's essential to check visa requirements ahead of your trip.

While the British Pound is the official currency, most places accept major credit cards. English is the widely spoken language in London, although you'll likely hear a diverse array of languages due to the city's multicultural nature. Remember to respect local customs, such as queuing in an orderly manner, a practice taken seriously by Londoners!

London's Premier Attractions

From the majestic Buckingham Palace and the historic Tower of London to the dynamic modern art at Tate Modern, London's attractions cater to every interest. For breathtaking views of the city, the London Eye is a must-visit. Explore the British Museum, stroll through Hyde Park, or catch a show in the West End for an unforgettable London experience.

When to Visit: London's Weather and Packing Tip

London experiences a temperate maritime climate. Summers (June to August) can be warm with temperatures in London reaching up to 73°F (23°C), while winters (December to February) are generally cold and damp. The city is known for its unpredictable weather, so packing layers and a waterproof jacket is recommended. The best times to visit London are during spring (April to June) and fall (September to November) when the weather is mild and the parks are in full bloom.

Choosing Your Accommodation in London

For those wishing to be in the heart of London's cultural scene, the Z Hotel Piccadilly is conveniently located near landmarks like Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. For food enthusiasts, the stylish Ham Yard Hotel in Soho is surrounded by a plethora of eateries.
