The room I was given looked NOTHING like the photos, half the size & unbearably hot, paint pealing off the walls, dirty bed, marked walls. Was told photo was taken at a “different angle”, then that it was a room a floor down? Then that it was because I was staying in hospital? Complete con.

An amazing place to visit.Great experience.I really recommend this hotel.The service and food first class.Very cleann and hotel is very comfortable.Great location.Desing and furnnitures are so lovely.Its a great place for couples.

We as a family attending a wedding in London were looking forward to our stay at your hotel on 9th April. Unfortunately, you have cancelled our booking and no one is answering your phone to explain what has happened. The cancellation says our card has been declined but there is nothing wrong with the card. We have now booked with another hotel but we would appreciate some sort of explanation as the booking was made some time ago and only now cancelled. In other words is everything okay as reviews on your website would suggest this is unusual behaviour on your part.

We booked this hotel a couple of months ago via a well known hotel booking website and chose to pay when we arrived. In the last few days they sent a message via the site that the credit card was invalid. This was nonsense but we checked and updated the details with a different card. We then received another message saying the same thing. We tried to ring the hotel but they did not answer the phone, we sent a mail they ignored it. They cancelled the booking this morning. Don't think you are safe, they may decide to cancel your room too if it suits them.

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location for central London. As this is an old building rooms and layout are a bit quirky, but comfortable beds, quiet nights and a great breakfast while being treated well by cheerful helpful staff makes this hotel a bit of a little gem!. Some of the decor in the rooms is a bit tired, but the overall charm of the hotel and its location more than compensates. I shall be returning!!
