Good location, friendly staff! Everything was seamless and smooth. Nice welcome and send off. Hotel is close to the park and to underground. Nice for families and to stroll around neighborhood and visit cafes.

We arrived and our room wasnt ready on time, I explained that we had a dinner engagement and didn’t have time to wait, the team found us an upgraded room and couldn’t have been more accommodating, they made sure we made our dinner having had time to freshen up and change. I highly recommend this hotel, Jade was particularly helpful while we were there.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and tidy and the location of the hotel of this hotel is very easy to go everywhere. NAVINA From reception she really make sure that everything goes smooth. Thank you for taking care of us like family. Amazing stay.And also thanks to canni.. Will definitely recommend and have planned already to come back stay in montcalm!!!!

Excellent location. Main hotel being refurbed so stayed in sister hotel opposite. No sign to make this obvious just looks like a house. Arrived early and room ready which was a bonus. Has pre-paid for breakfast as assumed would start at 6-30am like every other hotel but it was 7am so had to skip due to early start. Room clean with everything you need but very small and no double glazing so noisy. Water,tea and coffee and high end toiletries (Elemis) were restocked during stay which was a nice touch. Short walk from Oxford street. Looking forward to getting back into the main hotel after the refurb which will be a step up.

The Montcalm Hotel exceeded my expectations with its impeccable service and luxurious amenities. During my stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with Camelia, the manager on duty, who went above and beyond to address my concerns regarding the spa services structure. I expressed my dissatisfaction regarding the spa only offering 30 minutes complementary use of the spa facilities. I explained this is unusual for such a prestigious hotel. Camelia was kind to explain the structure and encouraged me to return. I would have given a rating of 3/5 but her helpfulness and support truly enhanced my experience, making it a memorable stay at The Montcalm.

Stayed for two nights and let's start with the negative, the hotel itself is under refurbishment and is closed, and the sign to say where to go is not obvious, if it was on the front door of the hotel it would be helpful. The sign, which is waterlogged and smudged, says go to a hotel opposite at number 31. Unfortunately, number 31 looks like a house and does not have any hotel sign on outside. Now, for the good news, once you go through this door, a hidden gem is revealed. This hotel is excellent, reception is very friendly, and rooms all are to a superior standard. All rooms have great WiFi and amenities to a high standard with fresh fruit in the room. I only used the breakfast service due to other commitments. Breakfast was really wonderful with great and very good service. All in all, I look forward to a return visit.

I was given a room in the basement which was smelly and dark. Upon entering the room, I went to open the drapes to let some light in and I found the walls behind the drapes and around the window were covered in black mold. I asked the to change my room due to the mold and they just looked at me as though the mold was not an issue, and there wasn't a room available for them to move me to. Very disappointed with my stay here.
