Looking for a twin room to crash in, after a long flight, we happened upon this through an online booking site. Whilst not cheap, it appeared reasonable value for a late booking in a fairly central location. Pictures can say a 1000 words, but they can also misrepresent. This place looked basic but clean online, but I can assure you it was neither. First impressions - dirty beds, used towel (additional to two clean ones), rat bait stations in every corner of the room, TV was there but unoperational as aerial had been cut, waste bin battered to the point it couldn't be opened, ensuite bathroom disgusting - not tempted to shower, as beside evident filth, water pressure barely adequate to wet a toothbrush. I took a chance and slept in my bed while my wise daughter opted to sleep closed on top of hers. Morning couldn't come quick enough. 10 am checkout, no problem at all. We were out by 0730.

So we booked in this hotel to visit family in the area we knew it was 2 stars but the standard of basic upkeep were so amiss we considered leaving middle of the night. As we arrived we walked into the pub much to the glare of locals and were given keys to be ushered up a fire escape out back to the hotel entrance dodgy to say the least. The corridor outside our room is nothing but a trip hazard see photos and as we entered their pictures of the room have been greatly exaggerated and isn’t the photo shown. It’s not what you get. The room is a box but that’s not the main issue the bed although has a comfy mattress has a worn out duvet as thin as a piece of paper, the provided breakfast is 4 boxes of cornflakes in your room but we had no milk provided not even for tea and coffee. The teabags on our room had been used and not replaced and they evidently didn’t check because one of the mugs was still dirty. The shower is broken, and comes with two used bottles of shampoo and soap, floor is stained and has no drain, the wall in the shower is falling off and the extraction fan covered in dirt, floors weren’t clean either so I have doubts the bed we slept in was even clean it’s disgusting everything smelled musty. Your above a pub garden so you expect some noise but even after closure all you Can hear is screaming, shouting and traffic. The TV hadn’t been checked evidently because the previous guest has left his YouTube logged in and his very explicit sexually orientated video searches cropped up (good thing we didn’t have kids with us) The staff don’t attempt to be welcoming it’s as simple as give your key, bark some directions at you and send you upstairs. When we asked how late we can return we got a deer in headlights look and told to use the back gate. No WI-FI password of information provided either. Honestly for what we paid we were extremely disappointed, jut because you 2 stars doesn’t mean a basic clean is out of the question. We won’t be returning and we recommend nobody else used here there’s better places elsewhere.

Raj was very helpful on arrival. The room could’ve been cleaner, skirting boards, and plug hole was full of hair. Room was comfortable and we both slept well, was very quiet. For the price and location it was good and we would come back. Easy parking opposite at Sainsburys

Super friendly Raj, so welcoming. Gave us a guided tour of the immense premises. Bar had a fine selection of beers and spirits to suit all tastes and the locals were super welcoming. The rooms were amazingly adequate for our requirements. 🦖🦥🌮

WHAT A CAR CRASH OF AN ORGANISATION!! So we arrived ready for their 1200 opening time as advertised online AND ON THEIR OWN PRINTED SIGN on the door. No sign of life, no lights on inside. We tried calling, no answer. Eventually the doors opened at 1305 with a big queue of people trying to check in outside, all of us none the wiser what was going on. Everyone there was staying to get to a gig at Tottenham, its good location for the but not if you're on a time schedule!! The pub stank. Like stale wet dog and old beer. The floor was dirty, tables were sticky. We were all told to sit and we'll be checked in. A man turned up about 1315 and had the cheek to comment that we've all turned up together, maybe if they'd opened on time (and he hadn't been 75min late it would be less pressure on him??) Group ahead of us took ages to check in as there was argument over if they'd already paid. We were told that our room was ready..... but he didn't know where the key was. So we had to wait while others were checked in, shown to rooms and leave for the gig while we still didn't have keys. One other couple got told that they didn't have a room despite having their booking confirmation. A group of 2 couples were told that they were going into a triple and a single. Not one booking was without incident and the "meh nothing I can do" attitude of the man checking us in was awful. Not a single apology given out. We got a key in the end and the room didn't surprise. You've got to go up steep fire escape stairs so especially bad for anyone with mobility issues, small children or planning on having a couple of drinks. Our room was just so shoddy, the whole place is untidy and unloved and considering the big boiler through a door in our room with no carbon monoxide alarm to be seen, unsafe. If there was anywhere else to stay in the whole of London we would of gone, we know there wasn't because of the poor couple that were searching when they got turned away (despite having a booking!!!!!) Honestly these people don't care, are far from professional and shouldn't be running a bath. Shower in room broken. Flooring damaged and poor fitting causing me to trip, unlocked storage cupboard with boiler in, broken cupboard hanging on by a single screw, cigarette holes in the bedding that looked like it was 40 years old. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY

Booked for me by my company, I have now taken in my own bookings so I don’t end up in places like this one again. The Room I had stinks of smoke from the 80s, bed uncomfortable, decor shocking, worst “hotel” I’ve stayed in, it is shocking how this is operational. Visit at your own risk

This hotel is dangerous. The smoke alarm was covered over. They include continental breakfast this consists of small box of cereal in your room. No remote for the tv. No one available to book you in and no answer via telephone or email. Having booked with ********** I contacted them. I was offered a £6 voucher as compensation to be used on there site for future bookings. I have asked ********** to remove from there site until the smoke detector has been rectified.

Disappointing hotel overall. Pretty run down, room was fairly small. Location was good, just a 10 minute walk to the underground station. For me the worst thing was that the hotel advertised a free continental breakfast - well that turned out to be just a couple of boxes of cornflakes and some milk in the room! Got only one cereal bowl as well - apparently to share between hubby and myself. No spoons for it, but got spoons for the tea/coffee so probably just wanted to save on the washing up.
