No proper disclosure of the absence of air-conditioning is a dishonest practice in today's hotel servicing standard, especially during the heat wave with over 40 degree Celsius. Refused to cancel the booking despite the hotel was claimed by fully booked. Fittings are old, including old wooden window frame with no proper lock. Only 1 layer of blind. Staff are helpful to bring the heavy suitcase up and down. However, the staff broke the suitcase handle and dropped the suitcase which slides down for the whole staircase.

My stay at the Glendale Hyde Park Hotel was convenient in terms of location and cleanliness, which were both excellent. However, I found the service and facilities to be just average. Most importantly, please be aware that there is no lift in the building. I would strongly advise against booking this hotel if you are travelling with heavy luggage, as carrying it up the stairs is quite difficult.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great, food and shops all around, public transport is close and easy to reach. Hyde Park is in walking distance. The room was small but totally fine for one person, might be a bit cramped for two. It definitely would have been an issue to open a big suitcase and there's no lift, only a narrow staircase. Luckily I only had a backpack. Bathroom (or rather the shower) could have been a bit cleaner but other than that I have no complaints. Overall a very nice stay.

Glendale Hyde Park Hotel offers an excellent location, just a short walk from Hyde Park and Paddington Station. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, suitable for short stays. The bathroom is very clean, though there was a noticeable smell at times. Staff members are friendly and helpful, and the surrounding area feels safe with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, a convenient and good-value option for travelers looking to stay in central London.

Overall nice and clean, good location

Booked this at the last minute, check in was simple and staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean. For a room in central London it was very reasonably priced and felt we got more for our money with booking this hotel, as it’s also very close to the station and centre.

The hotel is very close to Hyde Park and the subway station. However, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in while on a business trip. First of all, the moment I walked in and realized it was run by an Indian, I had a bad feeling. We were carrying heavy suitcases to our room, and there was no elevator. The stairs got narrower and narrower, and even without luggage, the space felt cramped, let alone with such large and heavy bags. Once inside the room, there wasn't even enough room to open the suitcases, and the room was poorly ventilated. Absolutely terrible.

The room is really tiny, but near Hyde Park, the price is really cheap in London. . Friends with big suitcases are not recommended to book this hotel because there is no elevator, you can only take the stairs, and the stairs are very narrow, only one person can pass through. The hotel can store luggage, which is still OK
