Park Hyatt London River Thames

The hotel's location isn't in the absolute city center, but considering the price, it offers good value for money. It's about a five-minute walk to Nine Elms and Vauxhall tube/bus stations. The rooms are relatively new, but I was surprised to find a strong formaldehyde smell, even though the hotel has been open for two years. That's a definite minus. The service attitude was okay, but the front desk staff's competence and efficiency were concerning. Initially, they repeatedly got my length of stay and breakfast order wrong. Even though I had booked breakfast and showed them my reservation, the front desk insisted it wasn't in their system. When I asked her to show me the confirmation, she said she needed to find a manager, and when I asked when I'd get a response, she said not until the next morning... the inefficiency was worrying. So, I called Trip.com customer service, and I must commend them – they were incredibly efficient and quick in resolving the issue, even calling me to update me on the progress. The pastry at breakfast was delicious, but the à la carte main courses were pretty average and nothing special.

Full marks for the Park Hyatt London River Thames! This brand new hotel boasts top-notch facilities and exceptionally spacious rooms for London, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the Thames. The Chinese restaurant, Yu Xuan, offers authentic Cantonese cuisine and attentive service, while the heated pool is wonderfully quiet and comfortable. Taxis are easily accessible, making this our top choice for a holiday in London! Breakfast includes both a buffet and à la carte options, though the buffet selection is a bit limited.

The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious with elegant decor. However, there are two large construction sites outside the window and the room had a strong renovation smell. The staff were friendly, and the Yuge Chinese Restaurant served authentic Cantonese cuisine. The young waitresses were lovely.

The room is well-equipped and comfortable.

Close to the Thames. Convenient transportation. The hotel facilities are also new, very suitable for family trips.

The service was mediocre. The standard rooms face a construction site, and you have to pay extra for a river view.

Clean and hygienic, with comfortable bedding and a mattress that's just right – not too soft, not too firm. It's a bit far from the subway, so taking the bus is more convenient. The community park behind the hotel is a real highlight.

The bathtub was out of order, and so were the curtains. The air conditioning couldn't be controlled from the room. We reported it to the front desk and waited over an hour. The service was terrible.
