The Churchill continues to be my first choice in London, since 2008. They have an incredibly trained staff, which are always looking to attend to what we need. It is a place you can always trust on every single issue you may have. I must say Mr Cesary, one of the concierges, is a fantastic person, a true concierge that gives you all the tips, takes care of all the details in every single request. There is TV (pairing devices) issue; which couldn’t make it work with my iPhone. I let them know, they are aware, they tried their best, but it seems like they must have to replace its system, to manage this issue; every other hotel I stayed, I could pair my device easily so it is just something the hotel should adjust. They don’t loose at all their brilliant service because of it, as a frequent guest of them, I wish this could be heard as an advice. And I’ll continue staying with them.

The hotel is in a good location, near Hyde Park, near the subway station, and shopping malls nearby. The appearance and lobby of the hotel are relatively new, spacious, rooms and facilities are slightly old, and rooms are slightly smaller. There are disposable slippers, but you have to ask the waiter. Breakfast is very good, pure English style, with self-service freshly squeezed orange juice, hot chocolate, you can ask the waiter, children like it very much, some coffee cups are stained, you have to wipe it yourself. The waiters are fairly friendly and welcoming. After staying for four days, I only saw a Chinese couple. The overall price/performance ratio is okay.

Excellent location. Main hotel being refurbed so stayed in sister hotel opposite. No sign to make this obvious just looks like a house. Arrived early and room ready which was a bonus. Has pre-paid for breakfast as assumed would start at 6-30am like every other hotel but it was 7am so had to skip due to early start. Room clean with everything you need but very small and no double glazing so noisy. Water,tea and coffee and high end toiletries (Elemis) were restocked during stay which was a nice touch. Short walk from Oxford street. Looking forward to getting back into the main hotel after the refurb which will be a step up.

Just spent 5 nights at this wonderful gem of a hotel. Great location, lovely and very very comfortable rooms not to mention the fabulous shower, plus outstanding service! I cannot say enough about this hotel! The lobby area so nice to sit and relax after a long day, and the bar area also so nice to unwind. The breakfast and dinners wonderful. Everyone so kind and helpful as well. You cannot go wrong staying at the Beaumont! I will definitely be staying here again!!

Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

The Dilly was probably amazing in the 1980's and 1990's but not much has been updated since then! We stayed in a Dilly Classic room which was perfectly fine, a good size, clean with strong Wifi. The shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. I know some people on this site weren't impressed by the breakfast but I thought it was great. Obviously, the location is fabulous. However, I didn't feel the room was up to five-star standard. The coffee was instant and the milk small UHT cartons. There was no fridge or mini-bar (though we were in the 'cheapest' room so may be different elsewhere). The toiletries were cheap and basic (so bring your own), there was no plug by the bed to charge devices overnight and no Blu-tooth speaker which seems to be a given now in higher-end hotels. The style of the room itself was quite dated including the landline next to the toilet which I'm sure was incredibly cool in 1986 :) Overall, if this was a three-or-four-star hotel I'd give it full marks, but as it's a five-star, (and more importantly charging five-star prices), it's lacking in some areas. I believe the hotel is currently 'between owners' which makes sense, as I guess the current owners don't want to invest and are ticking along until the new ones take over. It's not dreadful by any means, but they charge a lot for what you get.

Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the rooms are clean and tidy, the bathrooms are large, and the bathrooms are comfortable. The hotel’s breakfast is particularly rich, varied and elegant, at £11/person. The front desk service is also polite.

Good location, right next to Trafalgar Square, next to Tesco express and Macdonald. The hotel room is also large. Friendly service, you can order Chinese food with just eat. The room has a microwave. Hygiene is average, seems gray, and the bathroom has a slight odor. There is no own parking lot. There is a cooperative parking lot on the other side of the square. You can park temporarily at the door and drop your luggage before going to the parking lot. Parking is 44 pounds a day and about 37 pounds with a hotel coupon. There are actually two hotels here, one is grand and the other is cq. I booked grand but lived in Cq. I do n’t know how to arrange it. When the hotel is not busy, it is sold at 7-800, and the price is good. After all, it is close to the Thames and other attractions.

Great bed, cozy sitting niche, beautiful chinaware with the tea and coffee service, smart lighting. Of special note: the bath area's marble flooring is roughened slightly and slip proof. Smart and smart looking. The location puts you steps from the Marylebone, Soho, and Mayfair neighborhoods at the Bond Street tube stop that connects widely. The house staff were instantly responsive with requests. We would recommend the hotel highly and gladly stay there again.

Only one minor source of irritation for me - a 'discretionary' 3% room servicing charge automatically added at the end. (which I paid). Nasty trend this - why or why can't hotels just pay staff properly and have clear and fair pricing by putting it in the advertised price?
