Reviews for London Hotels

DoubleTree by Hilton London – Docklands Riverside

This is 4-stars hotel. The environment is good and quiet. River view you can enjoy at anytime at hotel. The room is ”standard” clean and big but old fashioned. The bathroom and toilet is not in good condition. The location is not good unless your trip is heavily spending on Canary wharf side. The only advantage is a free shuttle boat between Canary wharf and hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options. Would stay again and recommend to others. Only down points were told they didn’t offer bottles of water (even though my Hilton honors stated I get water), and also issue with heating/aircon in room and it was very cold, but they did supply electric heaters.

Great location for west end shows, Covent Garden and British museum. Lovely hotel rooms and great modern bar. Good hot and cold buffet breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only downfall was our room was not ready when we arrived at 4.30pm. We had to wait 30 mins but they did give us a room upgrade.
Doubletree by Hilton London - Greenwich

We recently stayed here for the London Marathon 2022. We chose this hotel as the location was very close to the DLR station and very easy to get to Greenwich which was near the start. The hotel is hidden away off the main road but was very welcoming. Jeremy the Reservations manager looked after us and made our stay really lovely. We stayed for 3 nights and had a room on the 6th floor. The room was small but really cosy and quiet. Maybe could have done with a fridge in the room and some extra storage space but other than that an excellent stay. Breakfast was fabulous and on the morning of the Marathon extra food was put on and we could do down much earlier so we could digest our food before the run. Would stay again.

Our room is on ground floor, is noisy esp when we turn on the shower tap. It always stress us when bathing, it will start vibrating creating very loud sound. The temperature is so hard to adjust. Room is pathetic small with no space to open the luggage. When checking out the staff actually told us we have an outstanding of $350 which we have already fully paid through Trip.com. Ridiculous hotel, will not stay again.
DoubleTree by Hilton London Victoria

A old Hotel, the rooms are in not that good condition and overall cleanliness is nit that good. The staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet choice is small and every day the same. Location is ditectly beside the train station, very easy to get to trains and underground. We have no troubles with the train sounds, but for somebody who needs it really quiet, should choose another double tree location in London.
