The location is very good, but the room is too small, the bathroom is very small, it can only make do with it. There are stains on the quilt, and the attitude of the hotel staff is not bad. The external environment of the hotel is good, but the interior needs to be improved

Not the best place I stayed in, yet it not expensive and does its job. The rooms was good, no complains here. It was clean, had a big bathroom and a big soft bad. On the other hand, while I was there their restaurant was closed, so they were bringing your breakfast to your room, and it was bad. Also my room was on the third floor, and the stairs leading there are just hell. Imagine going up there with big suitcase. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Very appreciated The location is good also, it has a lot of stores, bars, park and subway station nearby!

The most horrible experience ever: the room I booked didn’t look like the pictures on their websites. The room I booked didn’t look like the pictures you can see on their website, and the bathroom was very dirty, so they changed my room, and two days later, they asked me to pay extra charges, this is something I’ve never seen before! There is this awful damp smell in the corridors and the bathroom. Their towels are dirty, I had to change them a few times. The receptionist was very rude, and the lift doesn’t work, so be sure you don’t have heavy luggage cause they won’t help you or complain about it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to the rats on the street.

This is a scam! We originally booked the adjacent sister hotel Queens Drive and saw decent pictures of what was supposed yo be our room for £161/night. When we arrived at Queens drive, they claimed *********** had overbooked the hotel. Then they then moved me and my friend to the Pembury hotel in another room which was clearly inferior to the one we had booked and had seen pictures of. When I started complaining, they offered me a lower price (£95 instead of £161) and claimed *********** will refund me the difference and claimed the poor room they showed me was actually worth £230. This was manipulation to convince me I was actually getting a good deal. We had to stay as we had tickets for a concert that evening. I called *********** the same night and they said none of it was true. Other guests were also complaining about being scammed and being accommodated in very poor conditions. This was a very distressing experience and I don’t recommend this hotel or the Queens Drive to anyone!

I booked this place a month before I travelled over, it cost nearly €250, about £200. I was there for a concert so I decided to pay it. Room was tiny, shower was tiny too, shower head about as big as the actual shower itself. Plug socket was locked by the kettle, across the room, absolutely ridiculous. The room was boiling too, the window did help though. The receptionist was very rude, speaking to customers as if she looked down on them, at a price of £200 for one night I would’ve expected more. I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend this to the rats on the street.

The room was not as advertised in the pictures. No plug sockets by the bed, at other side of the room by the door and desk, the light switch was by the door, should definitely be one by the bed also, no toiletries provided in bathroom as advertised in pics. A desk is provided but no chair to sit down to dry your hair. Tea/Coffee facilities are fine maybe some biscuits to go with them, after a long day travelling. A hot breakfast would have been nice in morning. Also was very loud with people shouting and roaring and doors banging at all hours of the night. After a long day of travelling I got hardly any sleep.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. Single rooms are very small, beds are extremely uncomfortable, you can feel the iron in the bed. Neither the door nor the windows nor walls are soundproof and you can hear all the sounds from the room. their heaters are not working in december. I believe that nobody wants to stay in a cold hotel. I also noticed that sometimes they leave the back door of the hotel open, unfortunately the hotel is not secure too.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. In the space of 20 minutes, I caught two cockroaches in my tiny room, and watched a mouse scuttle across the floor and hide behind my radiator. A look under the tiny bed revealed two mousetraps, so obviously management are aware. I complained to reception and, to their credit, they moved me to a cleaner room where I luckily had no extra "visitors", but I still slept terribly. At check-in, I'd asked to not be served breakfast because I had brought some with me. But this didn't stop two maids banging on my door whilst I was in the shower at 7:30, trying to foist a breakfast on me. They seemed genuinely perplexed when I refused even their coffee. Other points: - TV didn't work in the first room. - Overpowering smell of air freshener in the lobby. - The walls are super thin. I stayed one night on business, the only hotel in the area that was in budget for my employer, but it still cost £120-a-night. Had it been my own money, I'd have walked out.

Wish we had read all the reviews upfront, not only the 'good' ones on booking. This was the most horrible hotel experience ever. During day, or during only one overnight stay, you might not notice, cause they only come out at night and you might miss them. Although, there IS this constant, awfully damp smell of sewers throughout corridors and bathrooms. We changed 3 rooms. First one smelled awful, the other 2 had roaches. A second one also had these very small bathroom bugs, that look like termites, and also run around the room during night time. There's nothing they can do to refund you, but you should ask the manager. The manager doesn't work weekends, your bad if you spotted them on Sunday. So try not to look around the room on weekends. Or even better, don't EVER, EVER EVER stay there. We surely won't do it again.
