"It was an accommodation for a Chicago trip that was almost over, there were large supermarkets and shopping malls around, the hotel had various amenities including restaurants, and the airport was nice because it was close. The room was big and comfortable, and the bed was really fluffy. However, the staff's kindness was lacking and the service was very slow. We told them in advance that we would definitely ask for cleaning services before going out, but we never received cleaning services. Also, they paid for the accommodation once again even after we checked out. Regarding this, even though it is a large franchise hotel, I felt very disappointed and unprofessional about their ability to handle work."

"We booked two rooms and had spoken directly with the manager, Isha, before arriving. She never mentioned that the elevator had been out of service for two months. Only at check‑in did she say she had “forgotten” to tell us. She offered to cancel the reservation, but after a long road trip from Minnesota with young kids, we had no choice but to stay. We also didn’t receive extra pillows or linens for the sofa bed because the hotel was short on inventory. Unlike other Comfort Suites locations we’ve stayed at, there was no complimentary coffee, tea, or water available. This property is managed by Isha and her husband, and it was clear the staff felt intimidated and unable to fulfill basic guest requests. The back door was left unlocked at all times with no security, and we saw homeless individuals entering and exiting freely. As a family of nine, including women and children, we felt unsafe throughout our stay. The only positive was that the rooms themselves were clean. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet Comfort Suites standards."
