Where to begin? Given the generally strong reputation of the Eurostars brand, this hotel was a disappointment. The property felt consistently understaffed, check-in took far too long, with an extended wait just to reach the front desk.
Parking was unavailable, which is understandable since we hadn’t reserved it in advance. However, several other basic service issues stood out. The room lacked simple essentials like a pen, and when I requested one at the front desk, I was told I’d need to return it afterward, which felt unnecessarily rigid.
Later, I went to what appeared to be a bar, clearly stocked with liquor bottles, only to find it unstaffed. After returning to the front desk to ask for a glass of wine, I was told it “wasn’t a bar” but rather the breakfast area, despite the visible bottles of alcohol. After some hesitation, the front desk agent eventually came over and produced a bottle of wine.
Overall, the experience fell short. While the room itself was acceptable, it was noticeably dated, and the lack of staffing and basic hospitality made the stay frustrating rather than enjoyable.
