Lloret de Mar Hotels & Accommodations

Hotel was super amazing. Loved the amenities and staff was really helpful. Best part was the breakfast spread. Both pools were great as well. The construction seems very new as all the furniture in room were in top condition. I felt the only downside during our trip was the in-house disco event for our day of visit. It was quite dull( but that’s something specific to the performer, I guess). Overall will definitely recommend staying here for the amazing experience.

The room was small but we asked for another room and they gave us, We were pleased by the services we got there. Room was cleaned every day and the breakfast was good. The location was excellent, so we enjoyed staying there.

Myself and three friends stayed at this hotel for our first girls holiday away,apun arrival the greeting from reception was not the most welcoming and cleaning staff didn’t seem happy to see us, we assumed this was because of our ages we are 21/22 but we look much younger. A personal incident I had with a cleaner was horrible. I came into my room while the cleaning lady was in there to grab a jumper when she started screaming at me in Spanish and led me to the bathroom pointing at some clothes on the floor, not knowing what to do I picked up the clothes and put them in my suitcase. She then proceeded to go behind one of the beds and throw an empty water bottle at me, in shock I left. I did not feel comfortable to report this problem to staff as the previous night my friend was shouted at and got called security on all because she accidentally gave the wrong room number when requesting a spare key card. After these incidents we were all made to feel anxious in the hotel and couldn’t get out of there fast enough! The entertainment staff were lovely is really the only thing I can compliment about this hotel as everything else was ruined because of the treatment we received

Having paid for half board for 6 nights in a “4 star hotel” we had high hopes for the hotel. When we checked in, we didn’t pay the extra 20 euros a night for the sea view room, and we’re given a room with a side view of the sea, overlooking an alleyway. The room was okay, but the cleanliness wasn’t what you expect from a 4*. Crumbs and dust under the beds, lamps at the side of the bed were thick with dust etc. There were no bottles of water in the fridge etc which you expect when abroad. The pastries/fruit & cold options at breakfast were lovely, however the hot options weren’t fantastic unless you like watery scrambled eggs and hotdog sausages & chicken goujons or chips for breakfast. The evening meal we tried the first night, then ate out every night after that. There were very limited options, pasta which never tastes nice when stood about being kept warm, fish and pizza, but we were in Spain and didn’t want basic English takeaway options really, we expected better of the evening meal options. We had an issue part way through the holiday (which was no fault of the hotels) of the guests next door to our room banging on our door at 3am and trying to get in. When we left the room in the morning they’d been sick all over our door. We were moved to a sea view room free of charge, which wasn’t much cleaner than the first room, with peoples greasy footprints still on the balcony glass, and muddy footprints on the wall. You’d expect housekeeping to be wiping these off in a 4* hotel. Rooftop pool was amazing and amazing views, and the location couldn’t have been much better. Overall it was okay, but we expected better from the hotel. Not sure how it’s classed as 4*

We visited for my 30th birthday, we stayed for 3 nights, 4 days and I would return immediately. Brilliant hotel with amazing facilities, couldn’t make any complaints. Their roof top pools are amazing, our hotel room faced the pool and the breakfast was delicious! I am gluten free (coeliac) and every morning I was given a baguette, pastry and muffin, along with options on the buffet. We also ate in the hotel for the last night and it was great. I’d actually recommend checking their website as it was cheaper than booking through booking.com etc and you got a welcome cocktail, later checkout and a hat or bag of choice! Perfect location, great staff, I read that people said it’s a calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of lloret de mar and I couldn’t agree more! We loved it and 100% will return if we come back to Lloret. Thank you for a great stay!

My wife and I had misplaced a passport at Barcelona airport but only realised it on the way to Hotel Marsol. You can imagine how we felt. We were lucky to have been booked at Marsol because the assistance and support we had at reception from Aron and Racula could not have been better. They were the right people at the right place at the right time. They were calm and sympathetic and gave us wise advice. They knew the best way to go through the steps of locating or replacing a passport, the best forms of transport to take and made all the bookings for us so that all the thinking and planning was done for us. We wouldn't have known where to start. They helped us with the little things too. Aron offered to take our washing home and do it for us when we couldn't find a laundromat. Raluca had a picnic made for us to take on the early train back to Barcelona that left before the breakfast buffet opened. These little acts of kindness made a world of difference to us. There's more to Marsol than Aron and Racula, such as the location and the restaurant and bar, but what we will never forget was the service we got when we needed it most.

We just had a three night stay here. We stayed all inclusive. I thought the food was really nice and enjoyed everything. Nothing was labelled though which I think would be helpful. But I enjoyed everything. There was also fresh fruit at every meal which was good. The drinks were nice too and I thought there was a good mix. The room was really clean and the staff were polite. The negatives were our balcony opened onto a service area and some bins. It smelt bad. So we didn't sit out on it at all. There were also big groups of school children and football teams staying. Which was ok but maybe not if you were away as a couple. Most were well behaved but one day there was a really unruly group at lunch. Throwing food about and getting big plates of chips then putting them in glasses with drink. And no adults around stopping them. The pool was busy in the morning but we could get sunbeds in the afternoon. The gardens and plants were really nice too. Overall I'd say for the price we paid it was great. It was a bit loud at night but I think that's to be expected in lloret de mar. I'd go again but maybe not all inclusive because I would've liked to spend more time in the town.

We arrived on 7th October for a week all inclusive. Room was ready on arrival. Room 3018. On arrival to room wasn't impressed with the balcony. It was small and hardly got any sun. I rang reception to see if we could have a room change a cost of 20 euros per day extra but none available. We were 3 floors up and there did seem to be mice droppings on the wall of the balcony. Wasn't happy. The room had a free fridge and safe and also aircon. I asked for a extra key so I could keep the aircon on. The rooms are in need of doing up in my opinion. Cleaners came everyday. The hotel to me is probably 3 star at a push. The staff nice, Reception nice and restaurant. The pool area nice but steps to the over 18s top pool and there was no lift so not good if you struggle with stairs. The entertainment room you go in via a cafe very weired. It's not nice in there. Only went in 2 nights. First night first hour of being in we got our drinks from the pool bar then after an hour a waiter got us some drinks but we couldn't get them ourselves from the cafe. Never known it not to have a bar in there. Then the 2nd night went in didn't notice anyone coming it to take an order. So had to go to the pool bar. Not 4 star plus service. It was very old looking and wasn't nice. So we went out the rest of our holiday. Drinks good size. Cocktails not nice so didnt have any. The hotel very bizarre layout. First 4 days of our holiday we qued half hour to get a cuppa in the morning. I complained and it did seem to get better they changed the settings on the machines, added a extra machine, had hot water jug for tea, and then added a coffee urn. There is definitely need for improvement in certain areas. Food was good but a bit cool. The gym well equipped but no aircon in there. We managed to get a late check out room till 2 for 25 euros. There is 2 showers in the indoor pool and a changing room but no lock on the door it's not private. It was quiet at night that's a plus. Had a nice holiday but hotel I think needs improvements to be a 4 star plus. Especially the inside entertainment area.
