Trip was booked as I was meeting someone at the mooring of my boat nearby.
excellent location, and had opportunity to play tennis an swim, I also took advantage of the beautician
having a manicure ready for an interview...
im extremely pleased with the stay, room 51 was perfect for my requirements
room 47 was lovely for my daughter.
I will stay there again.

The room was one times only the secend day cleaned. The Hotel is in a very quiet location and the staff is very friendly.

The outside of the Hotel has ben ruined by being painted Pink !!!! who had that idea !! The barman is more interested in chatting up the waitresses or eating in his cubby than serving customers which makes it even harder to accept the over inflated prices being charged for food and drink, the bathroom had several hairs dotted over the bath and sink area and a lovely ********** found under the toilet seat, the menu is extremely expensive so we went for food locally at the White Hart down the road where the food was exceptional and very fairly priced. The room we were given was so tired if i were running the Hotel i would close the room and re decorate it, over all the whole Hotel looks like it needs a complete re vamp, the staff don't seem interested at all which is a shame as its in a lovely location but obviously being run by the wrong people.

The room is not finished and the painting has patches. Toilet seat was broken, bathtub was clogged, wifi did not work and bed was unconfortable. Business center was closed, and they provide no robes to the pool. The photos are not a true representation of what the place looks like. It is run down and expensive for what you get. There was a big spider web on the ceiling and the lampshade was also super dusty.
Staff is nice and the breakfast is good but the rest is very disapointing. I do not recommend this place.

Friendly welcome. Room had a warped window that would not close so not secure. Reported issue and was offered an alternative which was an excellent suite. The heating proved to be problematic with the boiler tripping out at inconvenient times but was quickly reset when reported. On leaving, I requested a reduction on the bill to compensate for the heating issues and was promptly offered £100 which I regarded as fair an reasonable. Mixed feelings about the stay - obviously things were not perfect but service recovery actions were good. Breakfasts were excellent with attentive service from the staff.

A lovely hotel. Stayed in Valley room - a delightful room with antiques, sofa, huge comfortable bed.
Breakfast was made to order. Can recommend the eggs Benedict. Wish I’d taken a swimming costume and visited the spa. Would definitely stay again.

The room was dated with furniture stained from passed visitors. I felt like I went back in time and for the cost of the room was dissappointed.
Evening Meal was very nice, but getting the attenion of staff was difficult, surprising when i was 1 of 2 in the bar. Breakfast was also a depressing afair with no staff on hand for a consderable amount of time. At points in my stay I felt like id wandered intoa ghost town.
