Oh dear. I've stayed in dozens of Premier Inns so you kind of know what to expect but this one falls behind. It's in a fabulous location and I love the building but it's tired and needs money spending on it. For example the lifts are held together with duck tape, the corridor floor creaks so loud it feels like it's going to collapse under you and there's a sign at the end of the corridor saying "tip toe" so you don't annoy other guests. You heard them coming from miles away. The rooms were damp. The windows were locked so no ventilation and the condensation was bad. The smiley faces and the word Everton drawn onto the glass by previous guests showed they were not cleaned very often. The aircon system didn't work. Kept switching off. The bed was ripped around the edges and a lot smaller than usual. The ceiling was damaged and the walls damp. The food was ok. Breakfast had a wide choice but things did run out and weren't replaced quickly. We had an evening meal there which was ok. But the soup was luke warm. Now for the staff. I thought Liverpool people were supposed to be really friendly. Not here. Everything was an effort. No warm welcome. Overall a real shame. I appreciate it's not the Hilton but like I said you get to know what to expect and this place although it's a beautiful old building in an amazing location it failed in so many places.

The wi fi was non existent even though we then paid for the ultimate wi fi The noise directly below our room was a restaurant/pub so really noisy till very very late The breakfast barely had anything whenever I went up and was in such a small area it was badly overcrowded and you couldn’t get In there to get anything Great location and bed as usual was comfy staff were nice and so was the room but for the price I expect extend the rest as well to be good

The hotel is situated within a short walk to most of the tourist attractions. Very friendly staff. Clean room, great forceful shower. Meal deal is very good value for money but lots of great restaurants and bars all around

My husband and I took my disabled mother away for a few days this premier inn. My mum has emphasemia and so often finds hot rooms can effect her breathing and uses a mobility scooter to get around with. From an accessibility point of view the hotel was as accommodating as it could be considering it is an old building. However the accessible room my mum was put in was quite small, extremely warm with no proper ventilation and the only view was a wall with a few artificial plants to look at. To say the least her first night was not a good night and when I went to help her in the morning, she said she has not slept. I went down to reception and spoke to a lady called Mo. This lady went above and beyond to sort my mum with a new room and ensure her stay was enjoyable for her break away. After heading out sight seeing, on our return Mo had sorted her a lovely front facing room looking over the Mersey with cool air and even left a lovely note and box of biscuits which really was a nice touch (mum devoured these pretty swiftly!). Knowing mum was now going to sleep comfortably we made the most of our stay and saw the sights of Liverpool and for the latter two nights of our three night stay mum said they were the best nights sleep that she had in a long time! Thank you to Mo again for going above and beyond, it was extremely kind. A credit to Premier Inn!

As I stay in Premier Inn hotels fairly regularly for both business & leisure I know what to expect - usually very good, but the inn at Albert Dock Liverpool was the very worst! The room, (411), was absolutely worn out and battered and with no ventilation as there was no window! Unfortunately we had to suffer it for 2 nights as the reception just shrugged it off. Considering the price charged for a Saturday night it was a disgrace, but I wouldn't want to stay in it any day of the week. Of course you only book this particular inn because of its location which is excellent, but next time I'll hunt around for somewhere else.

First room we were given was musky smelling and very stuffy and AC was not working. After complaing the receptionist were really nice and managed to find us another room. Some of the foreign staff were not very helpful in the restaurant when asked for a drink.

We stayed her for 4 days our stay was supposed to be 2 days but with storms our boat was cancelled. We had a lovely family room safe and Cosy and lovely view out of the window. We had to contact reception as we had to stay another night so we dealt with Mo on reception and she was so helpful and friendly and made the change for us and helped us stay in the same room. She was always helpful when we needed reception and she's an asset to the team. We had a lovely stay here an comfy and a lovely room. We always stay here and we will again. Thank you

I have stayed at this accommodation a couple of times now and have always found it to be perfect base for an overnight stay in Liverpool. The rates are reasonable, especially midweek. The accommodation is ideally location on the Albert Dock close to numerous food and drink outlets and within walking distance of the city centre. The room that we allocated was clean and modern with a view of The Wheel Of Liverpool. The only complaint that we had was the room was too hot and we struggled to regulate the air conditioning.
