Have been going to this hotel for over 25 years as have family in Liverpool. Hotel staff are as always, lovely and helpful. Great location for middle of Liverpool. Food resonable price and good quality. Drinks quite expensive.
Where this hotel falls down is its getting a bit battle weary. Heating poor, had to get an extra heater brought in and cold spoilt the night. Lighting poor and bedside light broken...and has been for a while. Broken tile in bathroom a trip and cutting hazard. Lack of bedside electrical plugs not really acceptable in a Hilton hotel in this day and age. Needs upgraded to maintain Hilton standards, and for the price is easily beaten by local competition

It was hard to find a temporary parking spot to unload the luggage when we check in because of construction

Our view of the room was great.Expected better customer service for Hilton’s.Was charged £15 for early check in which was like 45 mins left until 3pm.
Room wasn’t the cleanest.Bed sheet was not neat and the previous guest left a pair of trousers and sometime as we left our hotel to go out someone came into our room to remove the pair of trousers even with a do not disturb sign hung at the door when we wasn’t in the room.Bathroom was small.

I have just one point , the security in front of the door for hotel activities should respect the hotel guests , I don’t wear ring for the activity but i am in hotel . He should ask me nicely without pushing me because i didn’t wear ring .

Wonderful location. Very nice reception area and bar. Comfortable bed and pillows. Short of a few niceties eg Shower cap / free bottled water / no fridge in the room. Didn’t have a breakfast so can’t comment on that. Suited our requirements for a two night shopping trip and the central location made up for all minor disappointments.

This stay was a little disappointing although the room and executive lounge were good value the lounge was boiling hot and air con not working and also the room had no water from 11pm - 4am. This is unacceptable when the weather is so hot not being able to get a shower at night.
The hotel agreed to refund 25% of the cost but this isn’t really good enough .
On departing we were told that they no longer do the Hilton Q park voucher unless the parking is pre booked online . This is ridiculous also .
