An overnight stay in the twin room. The positives: excellent breakfast and lovely lady looking after us, good location. The negatives: black mould growing at the bottom of the windows, very tired and run down, the most cobwebs I have ever seen. Generally needs an a massive deep clean and lots of maintenance work.

Fantastic stay Farmhouse wonderful views host there if you need them but not in your face. Comfortable beds fabulous breakfast and a pool if you fancy a swim . Great value Some wonderful villages nearby to explore and eat out .will be back in the summer to take advantage of the garden

Really lovely farmhouse B and B. It is part of a working farm and is a delightful place to stay. All bedrooms are on the first floor so not great if you have access problems but otherwiseits ideal for what you're paying. The breakfast alone is worth booking in for! The hosts are very obliging. There is even a fast food service operating from one of the farm buildings it seems so it's handy if you don't fancy the short drive back to the many pubs in the area. Highly recommended.

We went here for 2 nights for my partner’s birthday treat. It was absolutely lovely, the room was lovely with a great view over the garden. The breakfast was lovely and hot and freshly cooked, with a great selection of cereals etc. We were greeted warmly on arrival and we’re always made to feel welcome. Overall ten out of ten!

Overnighted at the Grey Manor Hotel. All good, room clean, bedding comfortable and room ready early. Bathroom fine although shower fitting a bit tricky. Traffic noise is a bit intrusive, at least for the main road facing rooms. Had a decent cooked breakfast, and because it is a bit off the beaten track, chose to have supper at the Hotel. Meal was pretty good and fairly priced but both the starter and mains were not hot. Staff attentive and professional. Would we stop over again, yes.

Spent one night at Newmans Farm after spending the day at Audley End House,BBC Garden show. Greeted by Louise,who showed us to our room, explained there was fresh milk in a small fridge on the landing. We spent a comfort night,there was no noise from the farm. We found the dining room from the sound of the other guests cutlery on their plates.Lol. Louise was very attentive to our needs. Yes the decor is dated,but I m quiet at home with this. This is someone's working farm,and Bed and Breakfast,You can not expect the Ritz. I would stay again with no quarms.

Fantastic stay in a charming countryside B&B. Made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived until departing. Homely feel & the best nights sleep I have had in some time. Superb breakfast in the morning, would recommend. Thank you
