Recently stayed at this hotel for work, really miserable place to stay in Lismore. On my first night there, I was kept well entertained all night by very noisy footballers in the rooms above me and noisy people in the rooms either side of me, who were all still partying to the very early hours of the morning. Management reported they "spoke to all the party goers" through the night to tell them to quieten down; i didnt hear any of that happen and it certainly didnt work. There is not a lot of noise reduction between rooms, so surrounding conversations are heard quite easily. The location of the hotel is convenient, on the main shopping street and only a short walk to the shops. The hotel classes itself as 4 star, but check what type of room you are booked into, because only the renovated rooms are 4 star. I was in an old, unrenovated room, which was dirty, with old amenties, and a very strong smell of ?bleach. I dont blame the cleaning staff in these situations, Im sure they are allocated only a short period of time to clean rooms, so obviously can only do so much. The bathroom was very old style with stained, filthy floor tiles, absolutely no room to get dressed whilst in the shower area and really not pleasant at all. I would suggest there are better places to stay in Lismore
