The hotel makes no effort to cater for UK guests. The room had one teacup and one water glass for two people. More essentially (a) the was no milk n the room for tea (b) the hotel charged us for milk and (c) adding insult to injury, the milk they provided (for tea) was hot! If you’re from the UK find a friendly hotel!

The room and hotel itself are very nice. Air conditioner didn’t work making it difficult to sleep. Breakfast so so. Had buffet dinner twice as part of a tour group- really not good. I find the employees neither friendly nor unfriendly. Would expect a bit of a smile and some friendliness.

Air conditioning never works properly, say staff. This is a shame, people are friendly but i have to sleep with my window open in order to get a acceptable room temperature. If you have an early meeting, i do not recommend a stay. Shame, good spot, easy to access, clean room but in my case, too hot to sleep.

A very nice hotel at an affordable price. Although it seems far from the action it is actually located at a very convenient locale. Avoiding the city center traffic jams, offers fast access to and from the airport and it is within walking distance (10-15') from the Lisbon Zoo, the metro station and the train station. And if you do not like public transport, a taxi ramp is conveniently situated right outside the hotel's front door. The staff is really cheerful and professional and always eager to help and offer advise. The premises are clean and well kept and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable and affordable by the average traveler. We are a family of four and the hotel does not offer family rooms, however they did their best to secure that we get 2 adjacent rooms and provided room keys for everyone to come and go as they please. Overall a great experience and a highly recommended place to stay

Having stayed there before, I was looking forward to going again, but of course there is always with anywhere, that little doubt - will it be the same standard? I was not at all disappointed, in fact I was overwhelmed by the way I was welcomed back. With all the hundreds / thousands of guests that the hotel has each month /year - wow! .. Thank you Filomena and all reception and catering staff I came in contact with! This spacious SANA hotel, gives a good standard - catering - restaurant and bar (where you can get cooked snacks also) - My room was, as always spotless, well equipped, the bed very comfortable and a great view from the windows. The reception staff helpful with any information or request. No hesitation to recommend this hotel. :-)

Good 4-star hotel. Variety of food and desserts. Enjoyed my four days of stay here. Recommended for business trip. It is not very close to the city. You need to take a bus or taxi. Room service is good, and the staff are responsive. Safe and pleasent.

I really enjoyed my stay at the SANA Metropolitan Hotel. I stayed here for 6 nights for a training course. The facilities are very nice, the food was excellent at all times. The only thing I would have to criticise is that there is unfortunately not enough choice of vegan dishes at the buffet. The staff are very friendly and helpful and were very accommodating with several requests. All in all, I can highly recommend the stay!
