Hotel Marques de Pombal Reviews

The hotel is located in a quiet spot and yet accessible to shops and restaurants, including high end boutiques. Nothing fancy but room is of comfortable size and clean. Hotel staff are friendly. We’re allowed to leave our luggage at the premises after we’ve checked out to visit other part of Portugal. Worth going back. Value for money.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to the metro station. There's a bus to the airport. It's also within walking distance to the beach and the Line 28 tram, about a 20-minute walk or a two-stop ride.

All was good, just need to change air conditioning as heater wasn’t working right away. The rest were perfect, very friendly staff and great location

Located in a trendy neighborhood close to main attractions. The hotel is clean and quiet. The service is superb.

Staff are excellent…location is great ..right beside metro and easy walk to centre as well….  nice breakfast and bar area open for service . Really nice stay .

The staff were incredibly thoughtful. It was my wife's birthday, and they surprised us with a bottle of cava, forest berries, and a 'pastel de Belén' (a traditional Portuguese tart). The staff were truly, truly kind. The breakfast was very comprehensive, and the cleanliness was excellent. But the best part, hands down, was the staff, valet parking included.

Excellent service by hotel front desk staff. Greta location, close to everything during our trip. Easy bus, metro, tram transportation options. Kudos to Tiago who was very friendly and treated us professionally. Gave us tips to enjoy Lisboa.

The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia and a 20-minute walk to the city center. There are supermarkets nearby where you can buy fresh fruit. The airport bus drops you off just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and there's a metro station right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere.

The hotel is more like 3 star standard hotel definitely not 4 star the rooms are well worn with dirty looking carpets basic toiletries didn’t have any ironing facilities not for us wouldn’t recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at Marques de Pombal Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, especially Luis Nunes , who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. I also want to thank the other team members whose names I didn’t catch, but whose service was just as excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel to stay at and we absolutely loved our stay. Quite convenient location with plenty of shopping and eateries down the street. Also quite close to major attractions. The hotel staff is very friendly and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good experience. A little far (to walk) from the city centre but lovely area for the rest. You’re only one metro stop away from all the touristy stuff. Lovely breakfast, staff, gym could be improved. But all the rest lovely.

Great location, right on the main shopping street. Just a 5-minute walk to the plaza, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
