Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Everything was perfect, lili was super kind and helpful. She also find us a way better transfer for the next place we had to go. Also the breakfast every morning was different and super delicious.

The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!

Good Accomodation with caring host . Owner will pick you up and drop off from the train station . Cook breakfast for you , couldn’t ask for more. Feels like home when the bed is warm and the toilet seat is warm and even the bathroom come with heater. Will definitely coming back here again if back to zhaoxing.

The service was excellent and so was the breakfast. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and beautiful views over the rice fields. It was a bit difficult to find and it's called Creekside Inn, not Creekside Inn.

It,s a quiet and cozy place where paddy field view in front. Tea and breakfast offered is sufficient and delicious. The room is not too big but cozily decorated. Water pressure is super strong. Only downside is not enough hanger in the room. Else, all great.

The room was comfortable, cozy, and clean. The breakfast every morning was delicious. The landlady and the young man who provided transportation were also wonderful. The two orange tabby dogs were super cuddly. It made you feel very welcome. The room isn't on the main street, but it's still convenient. You can walk along the river to the main street for a pleasant stroll. My girlfriend and I both decided that we'll stay at this hotel again next time we're in Zhaoxing!

The past two days have been sunny, and the sunlight streaming into the room was very comfortable. The view was expansive, and you could see the locals working downstairs. However, it's not rice or rapeseed season, so the view was a bit less spectacular. But if you just want to relax, it won't bother you. The room facilities and toiletries were very thoughtful. The shampoo and conditioner had a consistent scent, so they didn't clash and smelled great. The hairdryer in my room was a Laifen brand, which is great for people with lots of hair. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. They were very attentive in explaining travel tips, and the breakfast selection was great—comparable to restaurants. The souvenirs I found were also very tasteful!

Having stayed in so many guesthouses, my experience in Zhaoxing Dong Village was truly unforgettable! 🌄 Opening the window revealed layers upon layers of terraced fields and the Dong village drum tower. In the morning, the village was shrouded in mist, and at dusk, the lights came on – every frame looked like a postcard. The owner was incredibly welcoming, personally picking us up and dropping us off, and proactively introducing us to the village's customs and off-the-beaten-path activities. The biggest surprise was that one morning they treated us to incredibly authentic local mutton rice noodles – so comforting and heartwarming! The homemade breakfast was also exceptionally delicious and plentiful. 🍜 The cats and dogs at the guesthouse were super friendly, like little housekeepers, affectionate and well-behaved, adding so many warm moments to our trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable, decorated with Dong ethnic characteristics, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere. If you come to Zhaoxing Dong Village, I highly recommend staying here – it's not just about accommodation, but a warm and scenic encounter. I already want to come back! 💛

For those of us used to living in big cities and tall buildings, it was surprising to see our daughter love this B&B so much the first time. The village, the beautiful natural scenery, the comfortable and clean room, made us want to stay in bed every day. The breakfast was also delicious! It was truly relaxing! Although we encountered some problems every day, the front desk staff was very patient and polite in helping us. Thank you so much! I really didn't want to leave! I look forward to staying here again.
