Very nice hotel, but breakfast was not good. Bacon was hard and like rubber, bread was not fresh and
orange juice/apple juice is an extra $4 on top of the breakfast charge. Other than that, all good

The room was clean and outfitted agreeably. However, the heating didn’t work well. The window unit was set at 74 degrees when I arrived but it felt much colder; the unit was blowing frigid air. No manipulation on my part could get it warm. I turned it OFF. I called the front desk. Nothing happened for 30 minutes. The room got colder—it was January, after all. I turned it on again, tried setting the temperature to 80… no success, still blowing cold air. The toilet also had a problem with the tank leaking continuously into the bowl, causing the toilet to self flush every 10 minutes. I called again and requested another room. I was extremely tired from a long trip and needed to get some sleep. They said they would send someone, who finally came. He turned the unit on—and the heat came on. He of course thought I was feeble-minded. He looked at the toilet, flushed it twice, said it was fine, not understanding what the problem was (English was clearly not his first language), and left. A little later, the heater stepped working and it blew very cold air again. I bundled up, went to bed lulled by the flushing toilet and not looking forward to the morning, when I packed my stuff and got ready in the frigid room. It was an uncomfortable experience, which could have been avoided by switching me to another room.

I wish the shuttle driver had found us at the designated door 48. Fortunately another hotel's shuttle driver took pity on us and took us to our hotel. (12:40 a.m.)
