Overall we definitely enjoyed the stay, the staffs were really nice and patient to answer our questions, and the restaurant there was awesome as well. However, the toilet in our room seemed to have problems with the flush can apparently they couldn’t fix it. Despite, I recommend this hotel for your journey.

One of the worst hotel. Name sake is 4 star. We 28 people came and there was no hot water. Manager behaviour is bad. They deal with mainly tourist and do not bother about regular people. Never go there. Neighbours have dogs and whole night barking. You cannot sleep properly.

Had planned to stay a full week at Mareneve due to its close proximity to Linguaglossa where our family lives. We were taken in by the reviews ( which I now realize are old). We checked into a junior suite to immediately hear a barking dog every time we either arrived at our door, went out on our shared balcony or in the middle of the night. The view from the balcony did face Mt. Etna which was beautiful but the shared balcony was not. There was a worn plastic table and 2 plastic chairs and dead flower beds. Inside was the round bed in the middle of the room (not sure why it’s placed there) and really isn’t large enough for 2 slightly taller adults. There are only 2 very small drawers for clothing. There is a wall of built-in surfaces (maybe a desk plus another flat surface). Bedside tables were of poor quality with 2 on one side of the bed with no outlets for the other side of bed. We really wanted to like the room but was just too quirky and not user-friendly. We only stayed one night before moving to another hotel - we had already paid in full for our stay before we traveled, so it was an pricey decision.

We came with a group of 30 people, they didn’t took care of us. Cold water, cold food, we complain to the manager and she didn’t taok Any action (veru arogant). In the bathroom water falls down near the shower, so in these conditions this hotel cannot be called as 4*.

Very nice hotel. Poorly advertised by ********** but staff were excellent. They resolved the issue. Very clean, comfortable and positioned well for Etna. Nothing to do in surrounding area though,

PERFETTOOOO, Camere 8, servizio 9, ristorante 8, centro benessere 9, reception 8, servizio ristorante 9, pulizia 7. Andateci vi troverete benissimo, si mangia bene e troppo, ottimi spazi comuni ed il centro benessere….grande accoglienza

Pretty good hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is not bad but there are better options in the town. Breakfast is basic but good, although it can get a bit busy. Spa is really nice.

My room was on the top floor. There was no view except a skylight with a broken shade mechanism. I was very claustrophobic in this attic room and it was noisy, too. Reception was very friendly but the room and food was very average.
