The hotel's public areas are beautiful and perfect for photos. The sand on the beach is very fine, though it's a shame swimming isn't allowed. I'd like to give a special shout-out to my butler, Wendy Chen; she was incredibly responsive to all our requests. There was a minor issue with breakfast, but it was resolved very quickly.

Although it's an older hotel in Lingshui, the service and vacation atmosphere are still top-notch. The hotel strictly controls guest traffic, only allowing registered guests inside, making it very private and orderly. Even during peak season, it never feels crowded. Rooms: The rooms are incredibly spacious, starting from 80sqm, with elegant and grand Southeast Asian tropical decor. The standard pool room offers a great location, fantastic views, and plenty of fun. Double vanities, Dyson hairdryers, and coffee machines truly elevate the quality. Beach: The hotel's private beach is just a few minutes' walk away. It's wide, flat, and features a beach buffet available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The white sand is fine and soft, making it child-friendly. There's also the famous lighthouse and a seaside chapel, perfect for photos and creating a wonderful ambiance. It's an excellent spot to watch the sunset. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at Disha Village Restaurant offers a rich variety, balancing both Chinese and Western options. You can also order à la carte. They have signature lobster wontons, local Hainan noodles, smoked salmon, seafood congee, freshly squeezed juices, desserts, and a noodle station. Open until 11 am, it's perfect for a relaxed brunch after sleeping in. The food pickup is well-organized. Butler Service: Raffles' signature butler service truly lives up to its reputation. My family and I experienced warm and personalized butler service, not just generic WeChat group messages. Since we were celebrating an anniversary, our butler, Chloe, arranged a full set of ceremonial touches and a hand-drawn card. Throughout our three-day stay, she provided thoughtful updates on weather changes and hotel activities. Overall, the hotel service is gentle and courteous, especially the excellent service. He coordinated all three rooms in the same area beforehand, which made it incredibly convenient for us to go in and out and look after each other. We chatted and found out he's from the same hometown in Shandong, and his practical, reliable approach really put us at ease – check-in, transportation, and dining were all perfectly arranged. Given this connection and his trustworthiness, we'll definitely be back next Chinese New Year!

The breakfast selection is extensive and commendable. **Service:** Our overall stay was excellent, and the service was definitely a highlight. From the pre-arrival coordination to assistance during our stay, our butler Chloe handled everything wonderfully. She even arranged an airport transfer for us on relatively short notice. My wife and daughter both said they want to come back again, and our expectations are very high for our next visit. One area that could be improved is the children's activities; enhancing the play area and the activities offered would make it even better.

The scenery is beautiful and the service is great. The breakfast is one of the best among hotels in Hainan. It's a pity that we went during a typhoon, so we couldn't enjoy the beach BBQ buffet we were looking forward to. That's a small regret.

They were late handing over the room and acted like it was completely normal. Plus, there was no mention anywhere that the kids' pool was closed, so I had no idea when I booked! The front desk staff just had this 'it's closed, deal with it' attitude, and then went on to say other facilities would be shutting down due to the upcoming typhoon – basically, 'take it or leave it.' Honestly, I was so angry I was ready to leave a terrible review! But a huge thank you to Zoe. With the typhoon causing all sorts of issues – inflatable rings blowing away, trees tipping over, you name it – she meticulously helped with everything, no matter how small. My positive review now is almost entirely due to her incredibly detailed service. —And as a side note, the Chinese restaurant is excellent, especially the Peking duck! At 399 per duck, I honestly think it's on par with Siji Minfu and definitely worth trying!

The only minor drawback is that since it's an older hotel, some facilities are a bit dated, but they were quick to help resolve issues when we brought them up! I specifically booked this hotel for the kids' waterslide pool, only to be told it was closed for maintenance due to rain and contamination, with no estimated reopening time. The entire hotel only had one tiny pool. The main issue is, why wasn't this major pool maintenance disclosed on the booking platform? I later found out from a social media post that others had the same experience as early as May 30th, with the kids' pool being under maintenance throughout their stay. It seems this pool might be under maintenance for most of the year. From check-in to check-out, I never heard from a butler, which is a first for me in Sanya. The only two good things were the quality of the breakfast and the airport transfer driver.
